Honestly, I don't think it'd be nearly as funny if it was about an actual military conflict. The fact that they treat something so trivial in the grand scheme as this pivotal event in history is fucking priceless. Plus, with the relation to the Churchill quote about Italians and football, it's as close to perfect as you can get imo.

For everyone who doesn't know Celsius from Fahrenheit, when Joakim was doing the weather, 36 Celsius is 96.8 degrees Fahrenheit.With 70% humidity, Pasadena was basically a sauna during the game.

As an Italian, i think the victory was well earned by Brazil. I'm also a huge F1 fan, i wish i was there on that sad 1994 april/may weekend, the darkest of the history of f1. Brazil needed a victory and you earned it, your country needed a win. That football team brought joy back to a country where one of their greatest was just dead and there's honor in that

Not only do they absolutely nail the style of the bands that they're making fun of, but they also manage to get the original bands members as guests on the parodies. I thought that was a sabaton song when it started, it has the exact same metrics. The lyrics were a little off but did not care much (i was coding something, music was just white noise in background) Then I was like "what the hell happened in Pasadina in 1994?". This is gold! I watched this World Cup so intense when I was 11 years old...and cheered for Italy when Germany (I'm obviously german) was out in the quarterfinals. I knew the names of the whole Squad and was a huge fan! Also had a Baggio-jersey...handed it over to my son, now, who wears it during the soccer-training
