Yes, Halep is the fastest runner around, she has the legs of an Olympic sprinter.

Naomi isn't a small person either so maintaining that speed would require a lot and be difficult to do so without causing injury. She's already suffering injuries and she's nowhere near older than some of her competition. Probably why a lot of her recent matches she tries to keep rallies as short as possible.

Compare videos of her between AO 2019 and 2021. She went from being quite thin and athletic to hella thicc. She must've put on at least 6-7 kilos of muscle. Her serve is massive but surely her movement is hampered a bit

This is very visible too in the current case of Bianca Andreescu, as it was obvious as well with Monica Seles after her return to competition in 1995.
