Nice build up for the fight, but Nery is certainly in over his head against Inoue. Also, the idea that Inoue isn't carrying his punching power into the current weight division is not born out in the results of the last two fights. Inoue carried Fulton to the eighth round, punishing him in each stanza, before blasting him for a T.K.O. Tapales was game in this last fight but even though he could hit hard, Inoue has the heavier hands and just beat on Marlon until he was ready to fall. And, if Figueroa could take Nery out with a body shot, just imagine what The Monster can do to Luis' liver and spleen! Nery will get a good pay day but its going to cost him some pain.

Donaire thought he can beat the Monster after that first fight when he had that lucky shot but it was his biggest mistake.

Nobody gives Nery a chance but you can't count him out if he comes to the fight well prepared. I assume he will be training hard to prove he's the best but he hasn't been in the ring with someone as Inoue. Tapales was good but I think Tapales was more of a boxer than a brawler.
