Next up for Top Rank Boxing, after five defenses of his WBO junior featherweight world title, Emanuel Navarrete is ready to conquer the featherweight division.
The “Mexican Iron Man” and boxing’s most active world champion, Navarrete fought six world title bouts in just over 14 months (December 2018 to February 2020).
The WBO No. 1 featherweight contender, Navarrete has won 27 consecutive bouts, including 14 of his last 15 by stoppage. Villa, from Salinas, Calif., has defeated contenders Alexei Collado, Jose Enrique Vivas and Luis Alberto Lopez in his last three bouts to earn the world title shot.

@@TimmyTurner421 and I hope he doesn't do those stupid sparrings in the gym but instead better fight for real. He gets paid for every punch he eats or delivers. And when he feels he has earned enough money for his family he can retire early and watch silly ones get concussed in useless sparrings without getting paid.

Mark my words homie, navarrete will ko this guy Villa big time, wont even make it to 7 round, wait and ull see. Vaquero has good reach keeps coming with power punches from different angles and has a granite chin, i just dont see him losing, not at this point

J Wooter Villia is a good but green fighter and lacks power which he would need to to keep Navarrete off of him. Just don’t see a big threat for Navarrete unless he falls asleep and Villa starts stealing rounds. Just don’t see it happening and it’s Villas first time on the big stage that’s a big factor
