I was trying to become a navy seal out of high school due to the way I grew up I didn’t go. The amount of regret that goes through my head and emotions knowing I didn’t go towards my dream of becoming a navy seal makes me tear up every now and then. I look up to you mr ballen. You have my respects 🙌

Some are sure more special than others. Dan Crenshaw was a seal and he's a complete sellout peice of garbage. It hurts me to say such a thing about any former seal but he's trash. It makes me think they make you sell your soul to Satan to become a representative or senator. They are all trash.

Ephraim is one of the biggest modern heroes. When I read the title I thought this was about a soldier literally going rogue and doing a war crime, but instead its about an actual hero who couldn't stand innocent people suffering and decided to do something about it.

Plenty of members of the Kurdish militia and the Iraqi Army are as big a hero as Ephraim and have saved many more children than Ephraim too.

Back when I was about 17 years old, I woke up and my dad was standing at the foot of my bed. He was pale and he had this deer in the headlights kind of look. I was scared that he might be having a heart attack. I asked him if he was okies and he told me he had a nightmare.... he dreamed that he was back in Vietnam and he saw me standing in the middle of the camp. I was 3 or 4 years old in his dream and I had a bomb strapped to my chest. He said he just had to make sure it was only just a dream. It was at that point that I understood just how bad the Vietnam "Military action" had been. My dad did two tours in Vietnam, the last one was when I was born. God bless all these soldiers who defend our freedom on a daily basis!!

My dad served in Vietnam also. He was the kindest most happy go lucky guy u could hope to meet. But anytime me or my brothers asked him about the war his expression would go blank and he would have that deer in headlights look. After we would snap him out of it he would take a moment and just ignore the situation and go about his day. He passed when I was 12 but I knew at that young age he must’ve seen horrific being a paratrooper in Nam at only 18 years old. God bless u and ur family I wish I could’ve understood or maybe I don’t idk 🤷🏾‍♂️
