It's ironic that Goering was not retained by the german army despite being their best pilot and por.le.merit winner,and Hitler an unproved corporal and iron cross winner was retained. Consider that the german army had a limit of 100,000 at the end of the Great war. Consider also that hitlers iron cross first class is like a bronze star and Goering por le merit is like The Congressional medal of Honor. This strange dichotomy makes the german army's choice to dump the one but keep the other very strange seemingly. There must be reasons but whatever they were , were hidden well.

Also...the fact is as follows: WW2 was started when Stalin *AND* Hitler invaded Poland *together*. Stalin murdered 20,000 Poles and buried them in the forest before the Nazis even had a chance to start killing the polish Jews.
