The NBA G League is the NBA's official minor league. Fans can get a glimpse at the players, coaches and officials competing to ascend to the NBA's rank. With 30 percent of players on start-of-season NBA rosters boasting NBA G League experience when the 2016-17 season tipped off in October, the NBA G League UKposts Channel is the best place to see the future now.

I know this was extremely emotional for him especially when he got alone for the first time, in an empty room or hallway, completely quiet. The relief. This is one of those win the lottery type of feels.

He is likely to never get another contract ever again. But after 10 years of trying you are ABSOLUTELY positive you'll never play on a NBA court. He did. (I would stop here, but I have time.) Everyone in that organization knows him but somehow none of them, on "your" team, know you. 🤔 Somehow Im beginning to think its more his team than it is "your" team. Its quite possible he made your salary in "tWo DaYs". The Lakers didnt make the playoffs. (Just thought I'd throw that in there.)

NBA Veterans, what advice can he give if he's never been played a full season of NBA ball? We have an aging veteran we're paying 18 million for right now! Brook is a solid veteran and KCP was a professional as well. This guy has no value! Its good for entertainment and marketing and thats it!

Vinh Le The lakers are seriously lacking in the veteran department, and the ones they do have, as you have already made mention of, are not real leaders. At least with Andre Ingram, you have somebody with a strong work ethic, and the young players on that team are in desperate need of that.

Nah Vinh. You're not seeing the complete picture. Leadership can come from any one that is experienced. At the end of the day basketball is basketball. I'm not going to reject good advice just because the guy hasn't played as long as I have or in the same league. That's dumb. You accept good counsel and leadership when it presents itself. Andre Ingram represents those things and he can even give you ten minutes a night if you need him to. You WANT him on that roster for a year or two.

What advice can he offer that Magic can't offer? What advice can he offer to prepare for 82 game season? how to compete in the playoffs? What's he gonna say? Work your ass off and make 20k in the G-league for 6 years and just by luck hoepfully half the lakers squad gets injured so i get called up and play one game! Did he get called up over caruso, wear, bryant GP etc..... Way behind in depth chart all year and you guys expect him to have a roster spot next year? Yall some clowns to? @Kingoortman You're right. Even the NBA vets said the same. It is indeed one hell of an accomplishment and speaks volumes about his character. Now he gets a shot at a larger contract. Maybe a two or three year deal. Fantastic reward for him in the $6 - $8 million range. What a way to end his career. Great guy!

King Oortman He's a "rookie" as far as time played on the NBA level, but a veteran, in terms of experience. You don't spend 10 years in the G League, and not learn something. He's got more experience than most of these young dudes who went straight to the league. How could he NOT benefit the Lakers?
