All these wonderful accomplishments you referenced are NOT apart of my world. Paying more for everything, taxed more than ever, savings account depleted and having to borrow from my credit card to make ends meet. You have no idea how tough it is.

There was a segment about providing high speed internet to Americans. If politicians REALLY wanted to improve the internet provided to their constituents they'd go after these borderline monopolies that are the ISPs, the customer service and quality of the internet are impacted too much due to the ISPs being able to do whatever they want. They too often don't fix major problems customers have, charge too much, and have completely unreasonable wait times when you call. This is because they know due to backroom dealing that the customers have little to no option over what company they get their internet from.
