Because, we are so used to watching black people marvel at sports and music business mainly (i won't say show business, because, it's still tough for a lesser known black actor to get jobs right away). And, i am not from the states, but i have friends and families living there, and by what i have heard and seen on tv and films, black kids idolizes the music artists and the athletes and want to be like them.
