What a wonderful album The Ride is. Didn't get the Attention it deserved. Weird how one of the biggest Pop Stars of the 2000s was almost forgotten ten years later although she kept on making music. TIK Tok gives Nelly a comeback these days, as far as I know.

This song reminds me of Girlfriend in the City, I love these types of songs. In the middle of the song she does a 180 degrees spin and believes the exact opposite of what she has been saying until then with such certainty, it's almost as if when we are all justifying our beliefs by repeating something too many times and wishing its actually true.
