One of those films that completely flew under the radar only to be discovered years later by uninterested audience who realizes how good the movie is. Spectral is one of those movies.

This film is perfect exam of Satyendra nath bose, by whom the bose particle invented and 7 scientist got nobel prize but he doesn't.......this flim also conclude boson particle theory but this also doesn't recognise at that time.😢

This movie was a perfect Sci Fi film man. They didn't drag it out, they didn't have a ton of cliches, there was a good amount of action, the acting was awesome, very unique plot, I loved it.

What I really love about this movie is that at no point does the main guy actually use a weapon. He solves the problems us bc his mind, and his mechanical skills.

This movie had a really cool way of blending science fiction with the supernatural. The ghosts in the movie were pretty cool and how they were made was pretty creative. I hope they do a sequel or even a tv show, because I really liked the concept of it.

REVIEW: Just finished watching this movie, all I gotta say is DONT MISS IT! Its got its flaws, but it kept me on edge of my seat for 1 hour 47 mins. The ghost spectral anomalies (antagonists) were pretty scary because they were killing everything with one hit. One part when one of the spectrals smashed a whole tank with 3 hits was amazing. Also, the movie started of like black hawk down but in the second half it bought back memories of Gears of War (XBOX game) with the big plasma style rifles, only the round saws were replaced by UV spectral lights (needed to see the ghosts)! For me its definitely one of the best movies of the year. Go watch it NOW for some serious military/supernatural entertainment. Thumbs up to Netflix......... 8.5/10!

Were you payed to say this? There's so much left out that this movie was definitely rushed, the fact that even my mother pointed out "where did they get all that new armour from?". Someone who isn't all that into sci-fi or war, either, just from an observation... yeah, this movie is pretty good visually, but it's let down majorly by the simple story.

Jackal1810 that's barely a plot hole. It came in with all the other supplies evacuated from the base. The same stuff that the weapons building montage was using. If that's the worst you could find, how do you tolerate most movies. I found the lack of character tropes refreshing. Excellent use of their effects budget. All the deaths were a flash of blue light and the actor rag dolls. An in universe explanation of the impractical guns. They kinda wrote themselves into corner with do a thing and they all die trope. Wish they found another way to resolve it.

Nah. The core idea is a blatant ripoff of "final fantasy the spirits within" (it even starts similarly), and the writing sucks ass and falls apart mid way, especially when they just come up with frigging plasma weapons from scrap in one frigging day, and went for an operation with them without even test firing them ONCE...

Watched it not perfect but honestly I did enjoyed it. It was exciting, thrilling, it looked great and you are not always sure what would happen next. In a genre (action excluding superhero movies) filled to the brim with poorly produced, poorly written and poorly acted movies this was a bit of a fresh air. Also I think 4 years ago this would have done fairly well in theaters. Netflix is definitely giving good quality for our buck

Kenneth Uyabeme this movie was never intended to be thought provoking or high art film. This movie is just a straight up action movie and I really liked it. I may love it given time. But I just finished it and I gave it a 4 out of 5. This is in the same style as like 1987 film structure as Predator. Good guys come in to show how badass they are, and then killed by an invisible killer. It honestly feels more like "Aliens" and "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" but in a very good way. No romance or main character angst subplot. Just some good old survival and saving the day movie

Never even heard of this movie before until now and I've just finished watching it and I have to say that I don't regret it one bit, great film! Enjoyed every moment of it, definitely worth a watch! Loved the ending scene aswell!

Felt like this would have been a good netflix series to watch, i mean the movie is GOOD, it's not perfect at all, but the acting, how it was shot and the element of soldiers vs ghosts thing is just superb. Amazing Movie! Came into it with low expectations and it literally blew my ass off... Thought provoking in the end with the inhumanity of what a human being could do to another... I hope Stream Venues continue to put out their own Material--better than most recent Sci-Fi flicks to date... This's like "Edge of Tomorrow" meets "The Frighteners", with a 2spooky twist at the end... Gave it 5 Stars.. Keep up the GOOD WORK Netflix! Go see this Movie!

Exactly what I was thinking. It was one of my all time favorite childhood movies I used to watch is 3 times a day now that am in my 20's I have only just realized its part of the final fantasy franchise I used to just call it Spirit Within. To bad I just did a quick google search and it got quite a lot of negative reviews simply because its a final fantasy film with out a dedicated game, but if you get past the final fantasy part its a really good movie for the time it was released I thought it was better then Shrek.

What a creative and awesome movie!!! The Story is exciting and the Enemies are realy scary. Also the creative solutions on how to fight against those overwhelming enemies was awesome! And the reason for all the things happening is super scary. Movie absolutely blew me away!!!! 11/10

This was a surprisingly good movie. They took a real thing, Bose-Einstein Condensate, and used it in a truly unique (if implausible) way.

can't answer...yet. Still, I think it was great to see a movie where the main character tried to find a scientific explanation to a seemingly supernatural phenomenon, and he did.

He knew there was an explanation. But since she had orders to bring whatever they found back to Washington, he made a reading suggestion that it was too dangerous to continue the experiment and that the science behind the experiment should be forgotten.

I just watched this movie yesterday. I admit, I had some hesitation because it was a Netflix original movie, but yesterday I decided to watch it. I was pleasantly surprised. It has plenty of action and a pretty original story line. I'd recommend it.
