Nettle soups have a long tradition in the British Isles, they were often considered to be famine food by the British and Irish people. This reputation is undeserved because not only are nettles delicious, they are highly nutritious. Nettles contain lots of iron and insane amounts of vitamin C. I try to include nettles and other wild foods in my daily diet.
