No one can take this away from Obama.

I will never, ever forget. The morning after, in middle school, during lunch- due to the lack of kids having social media at the time, the entire lunch room in the school erupted, going absolutely mad in relief, and in unity. Such a beautiful day that really was. Has not been a day like that, since.

Nobody understands how dangerous that mission was. It was like a final call of duty boss mission. Nobody had any idea if those navy seals where going to make it back home. The most wanted man in America and on the planet. The amount of security, outsiders bin Laden paid to keep his home, family & himself from harms way to make sure he’s still breathing to continue his blood bath of killing THOUSANDS of Americans. I don’t think those men who completed the mission don’t get enough credit. All I remember was waking up that morning at 5am seeing on the news that bin Laden died and was captured. Entire America went nuts! It gave us some closure that we actually had a president who did the unthinkable that no other president wouldn’t had done. Forever thankful for our Military men and woman who serve this country & very thankful for OBAMA.

This was such an iconic moment for America. You just had Americans working together, working to eliminate a terrorist who caused so much damage to our country. I know there will be negative replies to my comment, and some of them may be valid, but this moment should be remembered as a moment of pride for everyone who loves our nation.

If you are sending troops into a dangerous mission, you should have tension in the room.

I'm a professional photographer who works with elected officials, and Pete Souza had THE best gig. His outstanding work will be referenced for a very long time.

Just to see that and hear the chants for USA brings tears to my eyes. We used to be a much more unified nation. We had no idea how great we had it back then.

Obama was really “THAT GUY”. Even in such a stressful situations, you can see that he was up for the moment

I strongly encourage people to research things in history, deeply, further than the surface, to be able to get the full picture and be able to say you are standing on solid ground.

I went to a college in Northern Virginia. We were walking outside and one of my friends comes running up to me and says "WE GOT HIM!!". He explained and we all hopped in a car and drove to the white house. It was an incredible night.

If anyone believes that they would not be under complete stress, worried about the people going into this situation. You would have to be out of your mind!!

A true president that truly cared about America

I remember this like yesterday, I was in 8th grade, everybody was talking about it in home room just pure chaos, what a time to be alive 🎯

What a time to be alive and an adult and to understand and feel how powerful and stressful this was at the time. The way the country came together in unison was a beautiful thing too

I wish this country was always this united. Shouldn’t take acts of terror to bring us together.

A day in history. I was lucky to attend Pete Souza's event in NYC last year where he talked about this day in searing detail. Left goosebumps on my skin.

Every time we have a chance to go back to events of the Obama administration, my admiration for his leadership deepens more and more. I have never felt so blessed to be an American than when Obama was our president and chief decision-maker. May we once again have a chance at such hope and unity.

I remember the exact pool table in the bar I was at when this was announced on television...what a time to be alive

I was in 10th grade the day that man's idea's killed so many innocent people and every year on that day in September it still hurts to watch what those people had to go through.

It’s one thing to even watch frontline footage from Ukraine, but I could not even imagine watching that live, the crash, the fire fight outside the compound, the clearing of the house.. that must have been the most insane half hour most of the people in the room will ever see out side of anyone that is in actual combat, but to also only be able to watch its not even like being there. Truly a moment in US history

His demeanor didn't change. He called countless drone attacks, killed so many people, but you can see his concern for the safety of his men. This was not a joke, not a game, and he didn't take this lightly. Other presidents made light of these situations

It's mind blowing that this was 10 years ago already. I remember at the time thinking wow they finally got him 10 years after 9/11. Time just flies by.
