true story: i was about 6 years old and i partially remember this but my mom told me the main details, i was with my mom at her friends house and she had a daughter my age, we decided to go play hide and seek, i was seeking. i counted and then was running through the house, there was a corner where 2 walls met and i couldn’t see the other side, my mom pulled me away in a panic as the girl on the other side was holding a kitchen knife in a way as if she was about to stab me.

i was playing hide n seek with my friend, i was hiding in the closet down stairs bc she was to scared to play upstairs where my mom was, i closed the closet door bc im smart and the closet door was closed before i got in, but it was open a crack. i hid under the shelf, visible of the door, she was still counting and i swear the closet went dark for a second, which means someone or smt went past the closet door. and the crack lets in a lot of light

Holy S**t. STORY TIME! When I was kid, me and friends loved to play tag, freeze tag, and most importantly, hide n' seek. There was this one time we played hide n' seek at nighttime, close to this abandoned small stand. We hid behind the trees and in the grassy fields for obvious reasons. After about an hour into the game, we had to stop the game because one or two of my friends claim to have heard a creature near them. After a week later, we decided to play tag near our usual spot during the day, but something happened that to this day made me question what happened. While we played, I decided to go inside and get something to eat/drink something before continuing to play. When I got outside, my friends were acting odd. They said that they found bones of a creature near the stand. When investigating it, it was evident that the remains were from a coyote, but that wasn't the scary part. The scary part was that every time we were close to that stand, we heard coyotes howling, only to find remains of coyotes. To this day, I still didn't know what happened or who could've possibly killed those coyotes and leave such remains.

This is why hide in seek should be kept inside the house and if the house has multiple floors try to pick 1 floor I have occasionally played on multiple floors before though
