Matthew Perry, a comedy light, extinguished way too soon. Matthew was everyone’s forever ‘friend’, but in his passing, we also see how beloved he was as a human being.
His big break came when he was cast in “Friends” - originally titled “Friends Like Us” - a sitcom about six single New Yorkers navigating adulthood that premiered on NBC in 1994. Perry stood out among a stellar ensemble cast as Chandler Bing.
But there was a darker side to the life of one of the most popular comedians on television.
