I thought The Crow was a supernatural entity that could happen to anyone whose death fulfills the "rules". It isn't a remake so much as a different individual who becomes a version of The Crow.

Well none other crow is like the original,truth to be told.No need to take sides,its just a movie,i guess we all loved Brandon maybe he left too early like his dad and that makes the crow so unique!!! The new one is just another crow.

The lore of the world implies that it has happened any number of times and technically speaking there could even be multiple crow dudes existing at the same time but just existing completely independent of each other because they wouldn't have any reason to interact or even know about each other. However I'd like a more interesting time period though. Maybe old-west, WWI, perhaps a Viking looking to avenge the death of his clan.
