The fact that he wasnt among those who came on the return journey solidifies this. He knew he wouldn’t be coming back to enact revenge himself, so it cant be him threatening Jake. Hes just telling him that the RDA wont give up so easily.

You can see the same thing in the deleted scene he believed explosives should be in mines and that this is completely out of control because he doesn't want bombs to be used.

Sort of same happened with Way of Water. There's bunch of 1 minute deleted clips that add more substance to the film and adds, what, 10-12 minutes extra.

To be fair interplanetary warfare is not simple for the humans here. They still have to make do with not that many supplies. They get reinforcements and supplies after so long, I am not sure if they can effectively use the fact, that they have orbital control. They seem to be not that technologically advanced. Then again the planet of the Na'vi is a fool, you can rally the entire planet at your will and control them and you ignore your greatest asset (bugs, so many bugs)? At least in the second movie the humans final make more use of fire, but how that will help if the planet retreats to their large bodies of water is another problem and the humans are even more out of their element. I would like to see the humans win in Avatar, but the balance of power does not seem to favour them. Maybe if WMD-s can be used, then, well that would be a whole different situation.

It's not even about revenge. Imagine that your weakly armed guards (transport helicopters, small arms and cargo walkers) were attacked by natives. The finale for Navi came exactly when the first employee left the shuttle on Earth and told about what happened. Finally someone talking our language. In somewhere, some script said "nearly 12-14 ISV" making runs between Pandora and Earth. The one run between Alpha Centauri and World needs to be 5-6 year. With standard speed of an ISV (in last I see it was 210.000Km/Second) this means a vessel only comes in 6 month or 1 year. Forget about how to carry up about 200 passenger, maybe TAV-37Bs only transport 100 man a single flight. But in new movie, some ISVs have small differences from other. Some of them able to transport more passenger. You must watch "How to Avatar ISV works" videos on YT.

The Earth is that already in the beginning of the movie. And no the Unobtanium is not a Ressource to save it. Like in the Sequel with the immortality juice its probably something for some rich Assholes. Earth is a overpopulated and poluted mess and close to be inhabitable.

They have a chance. There are multiple points: - They are way stronger, bigger and they know their surroundings. Look at Vietnam to see where such advantages are going. - The humans have to use air breathers to actually survive, another advantage for the Na'vi. - They have the numbers. Space travel is expensive. Look at the USA and a terror militia. The USA have more advanced technology, but this technology is expensive. For 1 jet fighter you can buy a whole regiment of mercenaries who can shoot down this fighter. Money is the problem of the humans. So another advantage for the Na'vi. I can see them winning, but we don't know the numbers of the humans, so all speculation.

The description is specifying the original release year for Avatar is 2009, as Avatar is still considered a 2009 movie despite changes made in subsequent releases. NOT that this new, extended version of this scene was in the 2009 theatrical version. That's why it specifies that it is a new, extended scene in the "Remastered version of Avatar", which was only previously seen in theaters during the Sept 2022 theatrical rerelease. And now Avatar Remastered is the version of the film available on Disney+.

But, it's just semantics and not worth quibbling over. Parker most likely. He was against the war from the beginning and only wanted the Navi to leave peacefully so they can mine Unobtanium. Parker lost trust with Quatrich when he attacked Hometree and destroyed potentially millions of dollars of the mineral's reserves. When he tried to confront Quatrich and assert control, the latter takes over by force and almost strangles him. Quatrich will still be a villain in the 3rd and 4 movies.
