It’s actually better, nicer, and smarter than VW. And VW doesn’t have the sedan. Just too bad they don’t offer the sunroof with a sedan anymore.

The difference between a Passat and a Superb seems very small now. However , I think this a nicer car to look at than the Passat. 🙂

Наконец-то они убрали затычки с видных мест😊. У задних пассажиров за 48 тыс евро маловато удобств. Хотя тот же Артеон за 90 тыс бесит заглушками несказанно. Внешне суперб выглядит бомбово! Как и должен, судя по названию😊

Only thing spoiling this car are the BLACK SEATBELTS- look very cheap, they should match the colour of the hide. Short- sighted design.

THE GENERATION OLDER TO THIS HAD GREAT STANDS ,REAR VIEW WAS AMAZING… Considering the interiors of the new release has stepped above for sure. However,keeping price in mind the old one was a steal and the new offering could be a great upgrade for the existing Skoda superb owner’s . Although it can throw a great competition to its German rivals as it costs twice of its value with similar comforts or less than what Superb offers. Skoda tags their customers as “intelligent buyers’’ due to its offering in this class to the price offered is unmatched as always. With LED matrix lights, you no longer need fog lights. I just bought a Mazda CX 60 with LED matrix lights, they're amazing. They automatically switch between hi and lo beam at night, they measure the light opposite and automatically adjust to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic. They can adjust more or less instantly, incredible tech. Anyway, my top-range CX 60 also has no dedicated fog lights, it's all handled by... The matrix! Am considering trading in my nearly new CX 60 for the new Superb...

@@maxinlux6570 when I studied physics at school at 3rd class, I was told by teacher, that fog is raised above ground, and that why fog lights are located under main lights, to throw beam under fog directly on the road, and not dissolve in water droplets. I suppose, something changed in the fog physics in last years, that all automotive makers start removing fog lights?

The exterior is excellent, plus the fact that sedans are still manufactured. But the interior is an ill-conceived mess with a large tablet placed in the middle of the dashboard in an inappropriate place that reduces visibility. The rectangular driver's LCD clocks supported by a round dashboard that exceed the circumference of the dashboard, not even slightly inserted into the dashboard like the Octavia 4. Whoever is the designer of this very ugly board should be fired. The rest of the dashboard is ugly, difficult to clean and maintain. Many superb Skoda fans, including myself, will give up on buying this long-awaited model. I understand that almost all manufacturers have lost and will lose a lot of money because of electric cars, but that doesn't mean they make fun of the others. I'm a Skoda Superb fan, I've only had sk superb cars, but I can't buy a car just for the exterior, and on the inside it makes me sick with nerves at how ugly the dashboard looks. An execrable and unfinished dashboard.

The height of the infotainment screen is no higher than the height of the driver's instrument cluster... So you arguing that it will reduce visibility is nonsense unless you really like to drive seated low below the dashboard and that's just dangerous by itself. And the driver cluster extending over the lip doesn't seem like a design flaw, you're too used to seeing the older, set in displays. It's different, and that's fine. If you notice in the video the steering wheel actually blocks the sides so you don't even see them when driving. Nothing majorly wrong. As for cleaning the insides, a detail brush and kit is all you need, notice the transmission stalk has been moved to the steering wheel which makes this easily one less thing to clean than the previous models.

I've had a 2016 SEL 2.0 petrol from new. I was hoping I would be buying a new updated Superb this year. There's not a snowballs chance in hell I'll be changing mine for this. The guy is spot on regarding the dashboard, the thing you'll be staring at every time you sit behind the wheel. It's hideous.

Lk model with no back windscreen wiper? Wtf is this? Wheels look small, cupholders arrangement is not optimal and the right side slot in the boot is just open like some kind of hole? Rear looks too much octavia. Not happy
