I mean Fosphera was said to be a protector and a divine titan which was VERY similar to Mothra. So when they did a test screening, many watching actually wanted Mothra instead because of the similar role. Looks like Toho gave them another chance with a Toho kaiju.

i'm glad that it was Mothra. Fosphera wouldn't make sense since she didn't have any effect/connection on Godzilla, unlike Mothra, whom he treats like a queen.

​@@MavsPlayz I would of preferred if mothra's height was taller but her wings being bigger her body is fine, the Hercules moth has wings longer and bigger than it's own body for example.

@@Kaiju-bm4ts if you lack the strength to fight back, you could be seriously injured. Though Mothra was able to do some slam hits on Rodan in KOTM, it doesn’t allow her to fight back against a Kong ape or some of the other titans in the HE. And that smallish size makes for pitiful Mothra action figures. Oversized wings fall down over time as what we saw with the NECA Mothra from the KOTM movie. Weak flimsy limbs don’t support the weight either and it would have worked better if the body was bigger and thusly making it better for articulation and wing support.
