There's a bear route in that area, spec into a dex build and run up and down the mountain catch every respawn

Unless the devs add additional mid level areas I think we're gonna be bottleknecked by thic and raw hide.

Fort Ramos farm with a bow build I can get 20k an hour. It would be more, but that's two bag loads for me. Need to optimize you're knife yield & more importantly your bag having tanners burden.

You're calculating it wrong, I guess in this case it's not a big deal, but you can't just do 6 mins and assume the hour is just that times 10. The big bears have a slower spawn rate. Let's (exaggerate) say the big bears spawn once every hour, if you do 6 mins and you kill 2 big bears you cannot multiply what you got by 10, because they will not spawn again for another hour. So (if the big bear spawn rate > 6 mins) the big bear rawhide is skewing a little bit your results towards an excess, so you are over estimating. In any case, looks like a good strategy and you're going to get a lot of rawhide.

I tried this area few months back and bear respawn was too slow and a bit too random because respawns are faster if you’re close or not. This cave is usually just a good side hustle you do while running starmetal wyrdwood farm route there

You really should upgrade your tools.. i had better gathering tools with lvl 35, this is not efficient at all mate :) But otherwise, good spot and relaxing voice.
