Call me crazy. This is one of the most intense and powerful songs ever.

In his song “just being me” he said: “Yo I don’t rap so millions of people will like me, I Rap cause there’s millions of people just like me.”

Notice that he didn’t say that “you are just like me”. Instead he said that “we are just like you.” Small detail, but I think it shows his genuine empathy for others.

I found this song the same day I chose to end it all. 85 hour weeks taking care of my girlfriend and 2 kids that aren't even mine. Sitting in my car at 4am blasting music in a dirt lot 50 miles from anyone else and this song randomly came on. I put it on repeat like 15 times. And I was able to make it home with breakfast for all of us. And I've been ok ever since. I wish I could thank NF in person. He truly saved my life. And I'm sure that of my girlfriend and both of her . .both of our kids. Thank you man. Wherever you are thank you.

I honestly wish I had an artist like this in my teen years. I'm 36 now, found NF a few years ago, and still struggling with things as an adult, that I was as a Teen. Having an artist like this would have deff helped me a lot when I was younger and more self destructive. This man gives me hope on future music and the future of the youngins who are next up or just getting up. We need more NF's and less of all the other bullshit.

NF, I wanna say thank you. I was diagnosed with severe chronic depression, ADHD, and moderate chronic anxiety in the 5th grade. Listening to your songs is the one of the most relatable music I’ve ever listened to. You also get it. Feeling like shit from the moment you get out of the bed to the moment you go back to sleep.
