I think Lions fans can feel good even though they didn’t get the #1 pick because imo building a “never give up” culture is more important than a slightly better chance at a star player

As much as I slander my Detroit Lions each year, but this season I can actually say that they tried their hardest to win games. They earn my respect back after this game. Now they just gotta build and keep having that “ Never Give Up “ Mentality.

When the Steelers gave the Lions their first semblance of success this season, I was humiliated, now I see the Lions weren’t the worst team in the league. The best 3-13 team I’ve ever seen.

Loved this game, all those trick plays, going on 4th down, against the Packers, what more could you want just spectacular football

Dan Cambel is a motivator of men, not one week has this team look unmotivated to play despite their horrible record

As a packers fan I gotta give the lions respect for not tanking for the first pick... If the packers will ever be in that type of a rebuilding situation I hope they will tackle it the same way as the lions did this year under MCDC by playing tough and showing heart ✌

This is one of my favorites, if not my favorite lions team ever. These guys lost narrowly game after game, but they kept giving it their all. These guys make me proud to call myself a lions fan.

As a packers fan I enjoyed watching the Lions bring out trick plays on us. I love Amon Ra St Brown too. This team shows so much effort and they truly try their hardest every season.

Even though they have had a terrible season, the Lions have been one of my favourite teams to watch. They’ve got a lot of heart and have been competitive in a lot of games this season. Most of their loses they haven’t been turned over.

Last Lions game I ever went to was also against the Packers. Last of the 2017 season and Caldwell's final game as well, not only the Lions destroyed them but also finished 9-7 2nd time in a row and of course the memorable Stafford Detroit (not Philly) special play. This game is the first time I ever felt positive and optimistic of the Lions since then.

If we actually lose Aaron Rodgers because we drafted Jordan Love. It will be the a blunder the likes of which we have never seen.

Man I just love the Detroit Lions such talent on this team. The way they play with such heart they should be in the playoffs right now I hope for good things from them next year.

Lions kept fighting every game. When you think of other teams with that record, they look like real champions to me.

If the Lions played like this 24/7 they would definitely be a top contender.

When you look at the Lions they have been there and thereabouts in quite a lot of games this year, the win/loss ratio doesn't reflect on the fact they've got a decent team there and another high 1st round pick can only make things better. Unlucky to have that record. Then again look at what the Jags did today and how the Jets have played recently. Nice to see teams not laying down. Big UP to all of them for the past month or so.

Lifelong Packers fan in Wisconsin here. Gotta say...the Lions played like a playoff contending team here. Carrying this confidence into next season, they could easily be a serious threat. The sheer determination this group played with was astounding.

I'm a Packers fan and honestly? I'm not too concerned by this for this season. This game meant little in the long run and considering I like Campbell and Amon-Ra and Swift, I'm glad to see them win, even if it was against the Packers. It was a fun game to watch and didn't cost the Packers really anything. It almost had an exhibition vibe, where players were playing to win but no one really lost anything if they didn't, so we got to see come fun plays. So, I'm not concerned at all and I think anyone acting like the Packers did like the Cardinals and Vikings this season is just trying to make themselves feel better. Who I am concerned about is Jordan Love, though. I don't think he's played enough to be called a bust, but he just...hasn't done anything to show he was a worthwhile pick. If he wants to keep his job and show he can fill in Rodgers' shoes like Rodgers did with Favre, he really, really needs to step up his game. And right now, he's not even close to filling them.

I love MCDC's plays. So fun to watch!

Those games were there is "nothing to win/to lose" have a totally different spirit. Lots of trick plays, the backups get their chances, the players are way more "easy-going" - it totally feels different. Love it!

There were some great games this weekend. But this was my favorite. Yeah, Detroit's record isn't good but they played like champions in this game. Take that into next season and build on it.
