Call me crazy, but Fields is gonna outshine every in this draft class. If he goes to the niners, I'm guaranteeing a OROTY, and a playoff spot. Fields has been my favorite to watch ever since the Elite 11, and watching QB1. I believe he will be better than anyone in this draft class. Hopefully it becomes true.

Crazy that Simms literally compares Fields to LJax. How does that make sense when he had LJax #2 that year, but Fields is already a much better thrower but he has him 4th or 5th? Everytime he talks about Fields he contradicts himself based on previous evaluations. Idk what it is but I haven't seen Simms this off on a QB in a long time. Fields has incredible physical traits, pedigree, played in big moments against the best competition possible. Threw 41 TDs, 3ints as a sophomore. The widespread criticism over 2 bad games just doesn't make sense, especially if you factor in that he can grow as a player and be coached up.

Mac Jones had the best OLine, running backs and receivers....in his lone full year as a starter.....he never saw pressure....everything was easy for him. He didn't read defenses, Sark scripted everything to perfection with those weapons....he had a track team to run down his over throws....Simms says Fields scares him.....but haven't we seen this before with Mac Jones. (Matt Leinart, Ken Dorsey) These guys aren't asked to do much with their teams....Mac Jones is gonna get someone fired. Justin Fields played against tougher rated defenses than all the top prospects. They all have their strength and weaknesses but there are way more strength than weaknesses with Fields, he’s gonna be star in the league.

I am still having hard time finding those "mechanics" that Chris keeps talking about. I would argue that only Mond has better mechanics than Fields. Anyways, I can't wait to see all of these guys at the next level. We will find out what they're made of eventually.

Physically, and game p,any wise, he reminds me of a young Jay Cutler. Before anyone freaks out, Jay was a great athlete with mobility, speed, and that insane gun. But his mechanics were raw, he struggled with blitz recognition, held onto the ball to long, tried to thread the needle to much and relied on the arm to much. Even had a baseball back ground, where they said he could of played in the majors. My hope is he doesn’t have the attitude and can develop his natural gifts and refine them. Cutler was indifferent to football, indifferent to his teammates and indifferent to developing, it wasn’t a job he loved. He didn’t like the fame, the media, the attention. Fields is quiet like him, but doesn’t strike me as indifferent. If he develops his talent he can be a top QB in the league. If he doesn’t, he will struggle like Cutler. Lots of sacks, games where he looks like a world beater followed by games he throws 4 picks to the CB. TL and Wilson looked totally relaxed at their Pro days, Fields was pressing. He’s got all the gifts just needs refine them, and put it together. I wouldn’t rush him. Crazy as it is they both have disabilities that can cause seizures, Cutler was diabetic and Fields is epileptic. Kind of strange really, I mean they seem so much Aline in so many ways.
