@@Puckhog the whole Leaf team should be going back to the AHL to learn how to stop choking LMAOOO. Matthews, Nylander, Marner, and Tavares should head back to the AHL to learn how to play defense. It's much easier to play defense down there than in the NHL.

Sorokin was absolutely unreal…this is exactly what happens in the post season…you can dominate all you want but if your Defensive game stinks a guy like sorokin can win a series no problem and send you packing. It’s too bad he’s on a team like Ny

Hear - Hear! well said Phil, well said indeed. Seriously, think how far Toronto would go in the playoffs with Ilya Sorokin or Shesterkin between the pipes! With the offensive talent Toronto has! Just a good defence and a top 3 elite goalie would bring this team a long way in the playoffs.

Yeah Sorokin is a beast. His stats so far this year dont reflect his actual ability, guy takes the most shots in the league every night. He'd definitley put any teams that's close to being a contender right into that tier.

The team is playing below expectations this year. Not only does Treliving, Shanahan, and Keefe need to be fired but our defense, power play and penalty kill coaches need to be shown the door as well

the problem is that Treliving won't get the door. He was just hired. He is working with what Dubas left him so i'll give him a pass this season. As for Shanahan, he needs to go. Keefe is on thin ice.

None of em shoulda been signed for the salary they got. Haven’t proved anything other than they can score a bunch of goals sometimes. Usually get the pay day after winning a cup, not before.

Most fans didn't like the signing, we know he's a lazy player that only contributes when he has the puck, otherwise he's useless out there. 11.5m/8 is nuts, I can see a buyout in a couple years or a bad trade to dump him.

Kunucklhead fan here, Hated the trade when it went down 😢but it turned out okay 😀 I’ll always be a fan of Bo, good example of slowly developing a high draft pick, not putting too much pressure or expectations on him…I remember always thinking he should have more ice time in his early days, 😂

Should have won last year. This year he's been off a bit. Lambert didn't know what he was doing and the Isles were giving up 40-plus shots a game. So Sorokin has had a bit of regression. It happens. Though not as bad as Shesterkin did last year One year to the next is different, can't win the Vezina every year.

I was at a game before Christmas and had complimentary club seats. I tell you, they had a chef for the snacks and all the booze you could drink and it was all on the house - complete with serving staff who will walk your food and drink to your seats. Some big wigs were there who were not at all interested in the game. It got me thinking of the thousands of paying peons who faithfully paid their overpriced tickets and crowded the stands and pay the overpriced booze and the dreadful snacks. Call me cheap but I will never "pay" for a Leafs ticket again.

Leafs are just top heavy...good for All-Star games and hockey pools with a few high end offensive players...but the whole of the team is...meh! Something like a copper Crown with 5 shiny diamonds...looks good from far...but does not pass a close inspection! They need a Star goalie!

Leafs no secondary scoring, drop knies down not producing. Put Lilly or Gio in the press box should of at least got one point. Rielly with the giveaway late and no coverage.

Leafs offence is becoming toothless. So many shots and great chances and they dont score of none of those. Nylander could have had at least two goals of he was not just shoting it randomly. And Samsonov is sloppy again. 2/3 goals were rebounds that he should have directed better. It looks like leafs wont make the playoffs this season.

He played fine, wouldn't say it was an amazing game by any stretch though, his reaction to that 2nd goal was horrible and he was moving around too much for most of the game, something you'd see when he wasn't playing well.

Toronto has some real trouble playing 5v5.. Both goals came on PP/4v4... Can't be an only power play team
