When watching I thought exactly the opposite. I actually liked the decision to linger on a flurry of chances that happened consecutively in the first period. It shows the editors are trusted and aren’t given overly strict guidelines and that they have the freedom to balance the video in favour of where they feel the most interesting passages of play took place. Conveniently the NHL and Sportsnet both provide 10 minute highlight packages for each game for you to choose between. The NHL might more strictly adhere to capturing miriad and concise moments from the game instead of multiple passages of play in one uninterrupted edit.

@@eric6650they have lost every single game when they have baines in the lineup. Unfortunately I don't see it changing either. They will probably lose every game with him in the lineup or most of them. I could tell you why but it wouldn't make sense to you.

Ванкувер заметно сдал в последний месяц-полтора. Голы даются тяжело, результативность прилично упала. Такое ощущение, что лидеры (Петтерссон, Миллер, Бесер, Хьюз) к концу регулярки устали, или у кого-то травмы. Лучшими на льду в последние недели выглядят парни из нижних звеньев- Гарланд, Блюгер, Задоров и Хёгландер хорошо играют. Если к плей-офф Ванкувер не преодолеет свой спад, то уже в первом раунде у "косаток" могут возникнуть трудности. А если попадут на Вегас, то скорее всего отлетят от имеющих богатый опыт игр в плей-офф "рыцарей".

Im mad so Here's a simple recipe for brownies: Ingredients: - 1/2 cup (1 stick) of butter - 1 cup of granulated sugar - 2 large eggs - 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract - 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder - 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour - 1/4 teaspoon of salt - 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder Instructions: 1. @@clomptavius The calls and missed calls this game were far worse than usual. I wouldn't blame the loss on it because great teams find ways to overcome, but it does dampen the excitement of a game considerably, win or lose.

A perfect game ruined by officiating, like be more consistent when calling penalties. Missed some obvious calls on the Stars earlier in the 3rd period, so don't call anything for the rest of the game... but hey you decided to call one with 3 minutes left.

The stars play great overall team D, that's what wins Stanley cups, they are tough when their firing on all cylinders. Garland is such a clever player for Canucks, little guy but I'm today's NHL little guys can be dangerous and productive. Great game.

I agree. At least make sure you’ve won possession before pulling that early. Vancouver lost the draw and it was in the net before you knew it. Now down 2 with 2 min to go, the game is over.

The biggest problem with the Canucks lately is between the ears. Why do they keep tossing the puck over the glass when they are shorthanded? The number of times they cough up the puck is also ridiculous. Teddy Blueger needs to sit for a game or two. We should be thankful they have, pretty much, made the playoffs. They just need a push for home ice advantages. Also sit Ian Cole and give Juulsen some ice time. He looked rusty the last time he played.

Jake Ottinger is the Stars wildcard. If he’s on, they have a chance to beat Colorado or anyone else for that matter. Their depth is decent enough to knock anyone out of the playoffs with a hot Ottinger.

I'm a Stars fan, and the officiating was AWFUL. Both teams had ticky tac calls against them. We just outplayed the knucks. Our passing was crisp. Our defending was stellar. Our stick work on defense was outstanding, too.

The ref calls were so bad on both sides. There were like 9 penalties. Many of them were soft. There were also missed calls as well. They really need to fix this. The refs are ruining the game. I don't even care who won this game.

That was a tight game. The Canucks looked good at times, but they just never got rewarded for their hard work. Dallas was gifted the win with a late Teddy penalty. I'm getting sick of these sloppy stick infraction penalties. If they aren't tripping players, they're high sticking them. It seems like every game, somebody slams his stick in an opponents face. On another note, why is Suter on the top PP. I just don't get how Rick rolls him out on the top pp. Why. He's not a top guy. Hoglander should be out there. Garland or Lindholm( when he's healthy), I'd almost perfer Hronek. Pius scored two goals in the same game once, and now he's on the unit constantly. What am I missing ?

Hronek gets 2 handed on the follow through and Joshua gets interfered with crushed into the boards by Heiskanen and no call but they hand a light interference with 3 minutes to go in a tight game.

What a HUGE win, tonight, for the Stars! Oettinger was absolutely sensational as he gets his first-career win over the Canucks (Btw, the Stars' first win at Vancouver (this decade) since November 14th, 2019)! The Stars become the first Western Conference team to reach 100+ points and clinch a playoff spot for the third-straight season (the longest span for the franchise since 2003-2008).

at what point do we have to start considering removing the refs from the ice completely? game after game, ref after ref the results are consistently inconsistent resulting in another blown game. This was an awesome game to watch for the majority, back and forth for long stretch's with great defense from both sides of the ice and could have gone either way, its an absolute shame that it ended in yet another bogus call/non-call. I cant imagine the frustration the players and coaches feel and go though after dealing with this day in and day out. we all deserve better

After dissecting this game to the fullest, I came to my conclusion that the team became uninsync with the return of Dakota Joshua, he didn’t play on the same line as his usual. Of the amount of stick waving, not using the body as much(is it coz the players look half the size of their opponents? I dunno, but we were pushed around, a lot). The main player I found to be considered useless was Sutter. He first almost scored on his own net, then he had a chance to clear the zone, but weaved behind his own player towards the middle only to get checked off the puck, luckily the Dallas player who was all alone in front of the net didn’t score. He just had to cross the blue line. Then on the empty netter, Hughes goes to double pinch the guy bringing in the puck across the blue line, leaving a Dallas player to put away a gimme. What’s he thinking? Best Defenceman? BS! DeSmith was holding the fort as best he can, he was doing a good job too until the teammates in front of him started playing like it’s their first game and impressing the big boss. Oh and last bit of detail, Sutter tried to be a hero, but became a zero, just pass to Mikeyev and you’ll be a hero again, but instead he prefers to be the zero.

to put blame on Hughes is absolutely REDICULOUS....Hughes, Miller, Garland, and Hoglander are the only 4 players on this team that are worth their salary. and btw...Suter is far less a disappointment than Petterson Suter is a 4th line Centre...it's not his fault Tocchet is expecting more than that from him....Petterson on the other hand is our so-called-superstar who gets paid 11mil per year...and does NOT show up in big games like this one. Petterson is the most OVERRATED player in the NHL ...GAURANTEED

We dont have the toughness that these other teams have like doughty, kopitar, Reese, nurse etc that’s our disadvantage. So we need to use our speed more basically, STOP taking stupid penalties and score on the power plays but instead we out here giving away goals for free… defense is decent at times but when our go to guys can’t even put one on/in the net, we can kiss the playoffs goodbye really quick. Oilers are quicker and have better defense, great goal scorers like Hyman. Kings have toughness and they can trap teams in their own end. Knights again tougher, bigger, but missing aiden hill. When you look at the central division, Stars are just consistent, Colorado is on 🔥 could easily get to the cup finals, Nashville has been pretty solid lately. in my opinion Jets and Canucks are going to possibly have a hard time in the playoffs. Jets have cooled down, I don’t know what happened to them… they have easily the best if not one of the best goalies in the league top 5 for sure this season but they are not the same team right now.
