When I get up to go to bed in the evening, my dog snaps to attention in pure doggy happiness. (Her life is a bit boring because I have ME which means bedtime is one of the highlights to her day, a routine she recognises.) The other night while I was lying on the sofa I put on the album Flicker, and when On The Loose started to play, my dog snapped to attention, filled with doggy happiness. This was the first time I realised she understood that Niall’s Flicker is part of our nightly routine: the last thing I do at night before putting out the lights and she tucks into bed is put on Flicker. Thanks Niall for bringing some sunshine into our lives.
