She had a "documented history" of mental health issues & still able to get an AR15 rifle. This is exactly the kind of disturbed person who should never be allowed to own a gun. But, in Texas anyone with enough money (crazy, law breaking) can get a gun. I won't be visiting Texas, too many crazies with guns & cowardly law enforcement (Uvalde).

I hate to tell you, but it's 100% legal to buy a gun from another person. Do you think everyone is gonna background check? Do you think this person or any other person would be unable to get an AR15 even if denied by an FFL? Eventually, gonna find someone without scruples. As outraged as you want to be about how easy it is to get a firearm, the real problem here is that this person was able to get an AR15 into a MEGA church without being stopped by some level of armed security. As unreasonable as that sounds, the only thing you can really do to be safe against an armed attacker is to fight back... having a gun helps equalize the odds. I wish people had better mental health support, better health care, better social supports for jobs/kids/education/housing, but the reality is we are all chasing the same dream here in america and that requires some level of self sacrifice. Turning on others with a firearm is a crime, should be treated as such, and if you have a place you want to be crime free, you need to take steps to protect yourself. That is the advice of the police, when you ask them.

That’s not a good reason to not visit Texas. Sure they have the most mass shootings and most cowardly law enforcement but other than that it’s pretty cool. They don’t have real electricity though, it always fails during the peak cold of winter and the peak heat of summer. Oh and you’re gonna have to bone up on your Spanish. Agree 👍. So 😔 sad. We need to be educated. There is help out there. And as far as meds go they work. They help. I know. I had issues and after many many tries the doctors found the right meds. Made a big difference. It is education. Support. And you need to want help. 😊

You can see in Moreno’s face that she was super depressed and needed mental help. Her neighbor is right she reported her mental problems and arrests and unfortunately nothing was done. I am so thankful to God that no one got hurt but Moreno’s son is in critical condition. Our prayers go out to the little boy.

Her neighbor clearly reports years of repeated, serious attempts to ‘warn’ of red flags - which is then completely ignored by every single spoken sentence following her statements - with multiple statements instead being “No way to tell” and “No way to predict.” And yet - this is the national ‘prevention & treatment’ policy (see something, say something - but wade your way thru a flood of an untold amount of freely available guns to get there - where you will then be completely ignored) If the gun culture and ‘people’s so called right to bear arms wasn’t so tragic, sad, pathetic - the supposed ‘policies’ and twisted reasoning could almost be comical.

Former President Trump's alleged allegiance to Russia is not truth (We all know that when all the charges were dropped back in 2019-2020). He recently made a statement about the US paying for NATO membership, and how non-payment would result in a loss of security benefits. He has the right to express his opinion on the matter.

It is true that there is little to no legal help our law enforcement can assist with in regard to people with mental health issues. My family has gone through the same thing as the poor neighbor. Most of the issue is due to the legal system, awful lawyers (not all lawyers), and too ambitious prosecutors/DAs who twist the system who and the situation for self benefit. The rest of us the system begins to fail due to these greedy personnel. I really wish we had more ability to provide more medical help for those suffering from severe mental illness…thus reducing worry from their families.

Any one that’s in the age bracket of social security which is “62” and beyond is considered to be OLD and unfit for the workforce. Moving forward is about progression however how can we get there with all these elderly people being seeing over the camera. I personally think that the position of “ Commander and Chief is the most important but both Joe and trump are unfit mainly because they are beyond retirement age and no one wants OLD LEADERS. I’m personally tired of listening to senility on these old leaders. Sad but true

Travel Physical therapist assistant here, I've treated ALot of pickle ball players, and man it's more than just being over 60+. Proper training is one thing but it was non athletic people for the most part that I was treating. I don't mean overweight, I mean if I told them to get in a ready stance they look like they had no idea what to do. they stood tall, narrow stance, thoracic might have had an exaggerated curve and out of breath by the time I position them correctly. You can have an active life style but a lot of those people who claim they are are only active in the sagittal plane, not the frontal or transverse.

Actually it isn't. Yesterday I went to pick up a gun I special-ordered and made a single innocent mistake on the purchasing form. My attempt to purchase was declined, I'm locked out of the system for 30 days, the store (Dunham's) can't hold the special-ordered gun for 30 days while that clears up and has to return it to the warehouse where it came from. And holy smokes, I HAVE A CONCEALED PISTOLS LICENSE which required background check, fingerprinting and legal classes to obtain!
