I have a lot of respect for Guenther and I really like him, he really has too put up with a lot of sh*t from team owners, drivers and title sponsors, looks like he is the hardest working principal in f1 at the moment, I wish him success and points this season maybe even a podium.

Uralkali and the Mazepin family getting kicked out was the best thing that could've happened to Haas. Now they have two likeable drivers, a likeable TP and overall more support from the outside. This working environment must've been horrible. I'm so happy for this team and rooting for them this season.

I can't believe he thought, after having daddy threatening to remove his funding, threatening to leave, having a bad attitude towards the team, staff and other drivers and generally being a rubbish driver, that Guenther would consider keeping him when his pockets ran out.

It's frustrating watching this guy be confused for a whole season about why he's so far behind Mick Schumacher and not once even consider his own performance as the problem. Steiner must have been pulling his hair out because never at any point did they ever get him started down the path of improving. He stayed on square 1 the entire season trying to find someone or something else to blame for how he was getting utterly rinsed by his teammate in the same car.

Literally Gunther is why I watch dts. He doesn't get coverage much elsewhere so I could only rely on DTS to see him. He doesn't disappoint. He's not the best TP but is perhaps the one with the toughest job keeping the team going and motivated with no good result whatsoever for one whole year. Also had to deal with a big baby and his rich daddy who sucked the energy out of everyone with their presence

I don't like any driver being taken down by politics and off-track drama, but when you ALSO manage to perform consistently worst on the track through an entire season, with no signs of getting better, and in general act like a selfish child towards your team, the politics end up looking like the least of your worries...

The first time I understood Nikita was bad news was in his first race. The Brazilian TV had, for decades now, a femreporter (Mariana Becker) who is an actual friend to everyone there. She is the one who interviews them every time. So, she came close to Mazepin, for his first interview ever, asked a question, and he imediatelly snapped at her (he was VERY aggressive, completely out of the blue!). She just gave him a snarky comeback and continued talking to the camera (as everyone on studio started to scream for her to "just kick him in the balls!"), completely ignoring him from now on. He moaned and groaned at her side, but she didn't spare him a second more of her time, moving to the other drivers to interview them (Mick's was the next, and his interview couldn't be more different). She never interviewed Mazepin ever again, and no one ever asked. I can see now this case wasn't the only one and why. What a piece of work...

With mick recently got into the points for the first time and K-Mag finishing 10th,you can tell how much Haas environment has become way more of a racing team and less toxic since Mazepin. The double points finish is literally like their little own victory which considering they haven’t updated the car since the first race and won’t have any updates till Budapest.

One of the funniest things about this whole debacle was how the Mazepins were all like, “the car’s being developed away from Nikkita and catered to Mick.” As if Mick was dominating and performing above his means 😂.

I feel having Mazepin’s time at Haas really created a very toxic environment that you can tell how it’s almost two different teams in one garage. You got Mick who himself was learning but was being professional and is well liked by his race engineers and mechanics plus it’s almost like his side of the garage is working as if everything is normal while Mazepin’s side it’s almost like everyone is going “ah shit here we go” through all the constant whining and threats of both the son and father

When I asked my dad, (which is a former cycling athlete and a coach for my city junior cycling team) about him at his first 5 race, he says "If I'm his coach, I told him to stop racing right now. His words, attitude, and overall act is not suitable. Maybe he'll become better on somewhere else." That's what he said to me. I'm actually shocked that he would say something that bad. And trust me, it's better because he didn't swear at commenting that guy. The last time I heard him swearing is when a junior athlete literally called his ass after an etape.
