Super Mario Maker 3 is questionable in my opinion. Arlo mentions it very well that Super Mario Maker 2 didn't gain as much popularity as the first game did despite the latter being on the underperforming Wii U console.

Oh my god i was thinking THE EXACT same thing Like, imagine the strats revolving around bringing a certain item to a certain level to skip or go through part of it faster

The beginning phases of the speedruns will especially be so awesome to watch because there are so many different combinations of badges, power ups, decisions, etc. It'll take time to find the most efficient routes and with what particular items/powerups/badges. Not just speedruns, but this seems like a crazy content machine!! "Can I complete the game with only [x] badge" "can my friends stop me from [x-ing]" "Can I beat this world with only [x]" etc, etc... There is so much creativity you can put into a game like this!

I used to play New Super Mario Bros. to death on my DS when I was 19 and I still hold a ton of praise for it. I still have it on my shelf above my monitor. It's was so damn good for its time.

Time to Stand Up For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes-the Jew first and also the Gentile. -Romans 1:16- We’re living in a time when people are standing up for all sorts of causes. And in some cases, people are even willing to lay down their lives for what they believe in. Isn’t it time that we, as Christians, stand up for what we believe? It seems to me that at a time when so many are standing up for so many causes, there are many in the church who are not standing up for anything. We are embarrassed. We are ashamed. But it’s time to stand up and be counted. The apostle Paul wrote, “For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes-the Jew first and also the Gentile” (Romans 1:16) Are you ashamed of the gospel of Christ? We must be especially watchful in this area of denying the Lord, because the Bible tells us that it’s something that will happen in the last days. Many who once acknowledged Jesus Christ will ultimately deny Him. One of the signs of the last days is that there will be a great apostasy, or a falling away. Some will fall from the faith, Timothy says, and “follow deceptive spirits and teachings that come from demons” (1 Timothy 4:1) Yet in the times in which we are living when we have violence at an unprecedented level, who do we often see vilified on television, in movies, and in the press? It’s people of faith. At best, they portray those who believe in God and have certain moral principles as kooks or feeble-minded dolts. And at worst, they blame them for the problems that our society is facing. Ironically, these very problems, which are the result of our society’s rejection of God, are then placed at the feet of Christians, as though we have brought them on our culture. You can say anything. You can believe in anything. But if you stand up and say, “There are absolutes. There is right and wrong, and the Bible says so,” you’re labeled as a crazed fanatic who’s hurting our society. However, this isn’t the first time in history that Christians have been made scapegoats for the ills of a culture. When Caesar Nero was largely responsible for the burning of Rome, he laid the blame at the feet of the Christians, although they had nothing to do with it. It isn’t right. It isn’t fair. But it’s part of being a disciple of Jesus. It’s part of the Christian life, although it isn’t something that any of us enjoy. Yet Jesus said, “Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you” (Matthew 5:11-12) Wear it as a badge of honor. Remember, you’re in good company. Don’t be ashamed of the gospel of Christ..

Even the death animations that were shown are reminiscent to the ones in Super Mario World. With the outward flailing arms and legs.

@Richard-Richardson New Super Mario Bros. has many differences that makes it unlike Super Mario World's animations. Super Mario Bros. Wonder does it identical to Super Mario World. The start of the animation is entirely still, and then flies up then down off the screen, keeping an upright orientation while the legs and arms flail. New Super Mario Bros. starts the animation almost immediately, with the arms and legs doing so the exact moment the animation starts. And to finish it, the player character topples upside down as they fall off the screen.

Only took me 0.01 of a second to realize that pun.

i prefer 'instrusive' co-op because it's funny, and also i like to be able to pick up friends and or bounce them up with my head to help us with certain things. that made co-op fun, not being able to interact with each other is not fun.

Dude this game would be a freaking nightmare if all of the other players online in the same level as you could bump into you or throw you. I'm glad it stops at just being able to see them and revive yourself off them because you wouldn't be able to make progress when there are like 10 other people taking all the space on the next platform you need to jump to.

@@DonJoe1 no one said it had to be for across the world co-op, they could have just made it a thing for co-op with friends which should be only up to a 4 player experience
