Since they're already in season 4 I can talk about how the beast titan summoned all those pure titan's. There's actually a short scene in the beginning of this episode when our Scouts are arriving on horses where you can see a thin tube sticking out of the ground. This tube is actually a breathing tube, and all of those pure titan's were people that were planted underground. That's why nobody saw them even though they passed right by them. Small detail that you can only notice if you have context.

I watched the whole arc in one night too. It was a crazy experience getting out of my room after that, i spent the whole day with the soundtrack playing inside my head remembering every one of those epic scenes. Felt like i was dreaming for the next two days 😂

Not a spoiler: yes there was people out in the field. You can see reeds pointing out of the ground so they can breathe as the corps was riding horses to the wall at the beginning of the episode.

The author knows how to create a heat of passion and intrigue It seems to me that the eyes were made red to emphasize the sides. This is a move for symbolism and for the viewer's subconscious. Red Eyes is a villain. Erwin and the entire intelligence corps are in light and green tones - they are usually associated with goodness

I wish I'd have Armin's emotional intelligence. He knows Eren is afraid of one thing, failing, which means that's what he must be thinking about @ 2:45, so he reminds him of the one moment he demonstrated how badass he was without using any powers, the one moment Eren can't "blame" on being a toy of whatever powers-that-be run this whole titan nonsense. Because how badass you have to be to lose a limb and still save your friend mere seconds later?

So there is a very very cool tiny detail I never noticed till a video pointed it out to me and it answers your question of where all the titans came from. In a shot where you see the scouta riding horses as they approach the wall if you look extremely carefully in the foreground, you can JUST see a small pipe of some description sticking out of the ground. The implication being that they buried a bunch of humans in s shallow grave with a breathing tube to keep them alive before using whatever method they use to trigger their transformation.
