It's not a story it's a real incident took place and is mentioned in holy Quran Based on prophet Nooh Alaehes salaam

In reality Hazrat Noah (a.s) spent 60 years to build a ship. And even his own son drowned in the water who was disbeliever and was standing on the biggest mountain with this thought that the sea storm will not hit there.

I always love it when I see a biblical story being done in the present era.the actors in the past have done a great job, but the present actors should do more works from the bible, it's easier now that graphics can be done easily.

This is a life story of our respective prophet Nuh (AS). But the feature film is made in western atmosphere. So I think no Muslim like me can accept this movie if there is any indecent scene. Islam isn't a religion that needs beauty products to beautify. Islam is beautiful itself. So if u wanna make something from Islamic history or related to it, you should make it at least 99% original according to the actual history.

They said: "O Noah! Thou hast disputed with us, and you have the dispute with us, therefore bring to us what you threaten us, if what you say is true. And Noah began to make the ark. And every time the leader of his people passed by him, they mocked him. He said: "If ye ridicule us, then indeed we (were) mock you as you all mock (us). I think that the world was not primitive in the time of Noah. I think that genetic engineering was very advanced... And Noah's ship was very sophisticated.

This is a pious story of one of our Prophets. I wish they had not visualized him into being a normal human as shown in this movie. His dressings, his wife's dressing. The modesty, the magnificence is all ruined and not potrayed correctly!

At the end the movie credits says the events and people are fictional. It's sort of a historical fiction movie, like most Hollywood movies, but the gemeral premise and burden is true for Noah and his family, so hopefully people will search the scriptures for the biblical story and ancient sages' commentary and learn that way. Russell Crowe is a fabulous actor!

The movie is not meant to be a literal depiction of the story we all know. It's more of a philosophical movie about humanity's relationship with animals, nature and perhaps also each other. The themes are incredibly relevant to our time. That's why, looking at the comment section, I think it's a shame that many people judge this movie on how "accurate" it is to what they already know. I thought this movie was entertaining and well made. It gave me plenty of stuff to think about and it was positively brilliant at times. Another movie I really enjoyed for the same reasons is The Fountain by the same director.

God saved Noah and his family in the midst of heavy rain and from water from all the springs of the great deep, God saved Moses and his people by walking through the water, then in the last days, God saves humanity through baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

Of all the movies made on "theological" genre, this one is the closest in depiction of Biblical and Quranic narrations on prophet Noah.... The film absolutely does completes justice to the weighty divine message that accompanies great flood and stars starting from Sir Anthony Hopkins, Russell Crowe, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connelly and Logan Lerman deliver a powerful performance... A must watch movie... Still gives me chills... #Loved_it ❤️
