Vincent Thurkettle found the piece of gold, weighing 97.12g, off the coast of Anglesey , and it is believed to be part of a £120m haul that went down with the Royal Charter steam clipper, that became shipwrecked off Porth Alerth in Dulas Bay in 1859. And it's still there today 13/03/2024.

I see gold type flakes in our socal beaches draining from the santa ana river after a storm. I passed it off as some kind of fools gold, but will definitely give it a closer look next time. Great video 🎉

Yes we always do great on the beach after a storm in nome it’s like a ledge of gold gets pushed up on the beach’s. If you dig o big hole you can see the levels of storms that have laid sediment and Gold.

What if you made a a sluice box that was large enough for the waves to wash up the sands to find gold? If it was large enough and strong enough and at the right angle and close enough to the waves (an anchored really good) it would create a self wash plant...leaving only the gold! ...it would work.

so how does it work to build one of those beach shanties, are they on private land and pay a lot fee or is it on public land? I am getting the itch to spend next summer beach mining and hopefully find someone that wants a mechanic/millwright and general fixer of random broken shit on their crew

It all Native land and it is illegal to camp there. There is a sign there that says $100 fine for camping. But people do it.
