Watched a special on him. That guy was batshit crazy. Countless wildlife experts stating he barely knew the basics yet would continually hang out with the bears like they were pets.

Saw the video of it. It was a matter of time, but all in all that Man had an AWESOME life with some of the coolest animals we have on our planet. Pretty sure it was the better part of a decade he kept going back to be there. He saw some of the most beautiful wilderness, lived in it, kicked it with bears for years. Hell of a life, even if he REALLY thought the bears wouldn't hurt him.

Dont ever underestimate birds especially eagles! Their feathers will have absorbed most of that smash and their bones are very light and wont brake that easy! Also they are very strong animals and also thoughtfull, if they do something the think about ot first, he wont risk his life for that goat he onew what he was doing, i thing he just flew of and accepted that he didnt make a kill

I saw that same footage recently, with the eagle tumbling down, in documentary about mountain goats--don't think it was original in this video. Animals are very tough--they know when to give up--survival is the name of the game in the wild.

The eagle usually drops the goat from the air killing it straight away , but it made a bulls up on this occasion
