Yeah, bad enough the vocal mimcs, but they're lucky the fake crew are wearing generic outfits. Making sure everyone is wearing personalized outfits is the only way to be cautious, but that doesn't help much in the blizzard.

Okay that little bit is driving me CRAZY though, because I had assumed that was part of the skinwalker mod that plays back players voices, But upon asking around and trying to find it for myself, and getting the skinwalker mod to try out, it looks like the skinwalker mod on its own does not do any kind of effects like that... Unless the voice recorded ALREADY had that effect going on it whenever the mod recorded it when the player initially said it. Now I'm trying to find confirmation that that wasn't a separate mod they were using to make it all spooky

Especially when the Skinwalker takes the most perfect voice to use. Seriously, out of everything it could’ve taken from Bob’s mic, it took his laugh.

It actually targets too, it will choose a designated player to mimic most of the time, to keep it consistent and harder to tell if it’s fake or not. This actually happened to me today and the mimic literally responded to what I was saying.. I eventually died trying to find who I thought was my friend 😭

Best mid combo is the skinwalker mod setting it so only masked can talk and a revamped masked mod so you can remove the mask and zombie arms from them. Truly terrifying not knowing who is real.

And when Mark got to the door in the end and a skinwalker approached him...holy shit

I feel like I'm kind of desensitized to horror but some stuff still gets me but in some of mindsets makes me feel like I am not scared of most things horror anymore.
