In a way Boxing Asylum has been the soundtrack to my week, every week for about 10 years. Other podcasts have come and gone in my feed but the Asylum has been a constant listen every single week. I digest all of it over around 3/4 days. I've never listened live, when members talk about the live chat and Jonny Horse Cock Nelson and Jim McDonald I have literally no idea what this is about. Maybe I should listen live and maybe there is a live forum or something. But I digest the asylum in a way that is very personal to me and I feel it's just me and the boys, so to speak. So on listening to the end of this weeks pod I was shocked and saddened to hear Steve is leaving. He is a brilliant presenter and he really understands and gets the sport. His understated (often hilarious) quips delivered in his Black Country tones will be sorely missed. I feel the Asylum is at its best when there are a variety of voices on. Over the last two years these voices seem to have pittered out somewhat. Steve and Andy in particular have been constant and despite the sometimes reduced voices have kept the pod to an incredibly high and entertaining value. I do hope Steve returns from time to time. I wish him well at BN. And I'd just like to place on record my sincere thanks to all members of the pod for the brilliant show they do. 10 years of listening and I have never given thanks so here I am. Hopefully the pod will go from strength to strength as it has always continued to do. An Alex or Ozzy return would be great after Steve's departure! So once again thank you Andy, Matty and Rob and good luck Steve
