The slide into it!! And the eye confusion when he notices!! 🥰🥰Mann🔥🔥 Go to sleep my little babies.. The ones his daughters were singing.. The old black men at the end when they was looking for the ring.. Been a while so don't remember name of songs but this the first one I went to... I-fuckin-CONIC!!!!

This movie is a masterpiece.
@alalbiston6943 роки тому
The definiton of masterpiece is the greatest work in someones career with great artistry and skill, so to say that O Brother Where Art Thou? is a masterpiece is to argue that it is the Coen brothers greatest film so your saying that this film is better than No Country for Old Men or The Big Lebowski or any other Coen brother film . I strongly disagree and think that No Country for Old men is their greatest work.

This is in a time when music was rarely heard except once in a while on the radio and that would have been in very low quality. The inconceivable excitement this small town crowd must have had, not only to hear it again, but watch the performance live as a total surprise would have been goosebump worthy.

Being a Kentucky boy himself, I would imagine George Clooney dug into some local roots to come up with that dance! Authentic to some bluegrass festivals I used to attend in the 70s and 80s. Those old boys that came down of the mountains dressed and danced very much like this. Oh, how I wish I would have crossed paths with George when we were both attending Northern Kentucky University at the same time! I never saw anyone that looked like him on campus or I would have remembered! Especially with him being the son of Nick Clooney, who was a prominent figure in broadcasting in the Cincinnati area. (And the nephew of Rosemary Clooney, of course)

1:29, Never noticed this before, but I love the subtle little singing noise George Clooney does with his character when he is interrupted by the bald guy asking for the microphone when he hears him asking for it. He just stops singing for a little bit, and after the guy is dragged off on the pole by the townspeople, he just starts singing again and the audience starts cheering the band on again in applause. Such a funny and perfectly well acted scene in this fantastic movie that deserved an Oscar award win.
@timothystephenson24982 роки тому
Imagine the excitement back then, if this actually was real. Of someone who hears this now very popular song on the radio, but back then nobody probably knew what the band looked like. So you go to a concert like this for a governor's campaign and you find out that this band that is playing is the band that plays your favorite song. I would be in awe of them.
