On the 49ers but what happened is the last time John Lynch talk to the GM of the Giants there were really close to making a deal and John Lynch told them that he will pay the highest price 4 Odell. It was said that the 49ers were going to give the Giants their second round for this year and maybe a second round for next year's draft there was a possibility that the 49ers were going to give them the first round draft pick which is the second overall. but that was just a rumor but at the very last minute Cleveland Browns called the New York Giants and their GM he gave them an offer and the New York Giants agree to it. And GM John Lynch of the 49ers was really upset about it because the New York Giants didn't call them back and tell them that they got another offer and John Lynch the GM of the 49ers got really upset because he would have gave them a better deal you would think that the New York Giants would do that to call him back and tell him but they didn't and we found out later it was because that the San Francisco was in the same conference as the Giants and even though they don't play in the same division they would have met at like every other year and have a chance to meet them in the playoffs so they didn't want face Odell in the same conference and that's why the Giants chose the Browns because they're in the AFC Conference but I do think that New York Giants did botch this because they would have got a better deal and the New York Giants are basically in rebuild mode to be continued
