I left a comment about an hour ago, but it has disappeared. (that's so frustrating! Not because my thoughts are so important, but rather because I want you to know I still watch/support your channel). My thinking on the gameplay background is that for myself, it is too busy & distracts from what you are talking about because if watch it, I don't fully listen to you & vice-versa. No criticism taken... I welcome all opinions. I'm not sure what I thought of it but I just didn't want to put off anymore time between videos... Kind of a last ditch effort. LOL I'm actually hoping to get out today and do another video... foot is feeling better and like you said the day is shaping up to be kind of nice... it's chilly but at least it's sunny. Memory unlocked! I hadn’t thought about The Mad magazine/ spy vs spy for years! I really need to re- read The Stand. I really liked that book, but I read that probably 20 years ago. Also loved Mere Christianity!

Nice responses! I remember Spy vs. Spy and also the Choose Your Own Adventure books. I enjoyed hearing your memory about reading The Stand. And yes, "Stand By Me" is a wonderful movie.

The Goosebumps choose your own adventure books were great. Jerusalem is a great pick, so is Mere Christianity, can be read in one sitting and is well worth it.

I would also love to go to Jerusalem and especially the Sea of Galilee. I bet there’s amazing energy there and just to see those places in person would be really cool. This is a fun tag and it’s on my list! No worries about this style of video, I found it relaxing and I hope your foot feels better soon!

One choose-your-own-adventure for adults would be "To Be Or Not To Be" by Ryan North. I checked it out a couple years ago, but just wasn't quite in the mood, so I never completed it. I'll have to try it again someday. And another one that looks kinda funny to me is "Choose Your Own Apocalypse" by Rob Sears.

I might have to do another one when I buy then newer version as this one was shut down. I read it has 3D aspect to it... WOW!!! Tell you what... I don't like change so maybe just leave the old one up. LOL I guess you can't make money that way. :)

I listened to this on my commute home, so I had to come back and see what you were talking about with Ticket to Ride. I didn't even know you could play it online. Cool! I agree that Mere Christianity is fantastic. Also, The Princess Bride is over of my favorite movie adaptations also. I've never seen Stand By Me or read the book. 😬

Yes you can... I did some research after the video and realized they shut the old site down and started a new one... which of course means you need to re-buy the game... I guess it's 3D like? Who knows I'm sure I will like the old one better than the new one because I will get the new one at some point... it's just too good of a game not to. :) Funny you had to come back to it. LOL I recommend Stand By Me it's a really good movie... or read the book I guess. LOL It is a booktube channel after all. LOL Have a great day!

Oh, sorry about your foot! The gameplay makes a decent alternative visual in a pinch though. Nice answers! Spy vs Spy was cool! Never heard of that dog r--- book but it sounds horrible. I will read that Westlake book, I like him and this sounds like a great one I've missed.

Thanks! The issue came on in a day and seems it's pretty much gone now... so weird... I'm hoping to get out today to do another video for Wednesday. Think I'll just hit a small cemetery so I don't have to walk miles. LOL Yes Spy vs Spy was a blast and I really think you will enjoy this book. If I'm wrong I won't ever recommend another to you. LOL
