I appreciate your diplomatic reviews on the movies that you don't believe you'll personally like. That's what true critics do, especially with the dramatic arts.

I wish they would offer a premium version that made their entire catalog available from all the different countries. So many of the shows I like were from regions that are now not included. Hardy Bucks, Toast of London, The I.T. Crowd, People Just do Nothing, and some others I can't think of off the top of my head.

What DVD does really well is to expose you to movies you’ve never heard of or considered, especially allot of the foreign language movies, they tend to be spot one. I’m dyslexic so I’m pausing allot to read the subtitles but Darren’s recommendations are worth it

War Dogs is great. I worked for a printing company and back around 2016, we ended up doing a job for Warner Bros printing thousands of fake $100 bills that say War Dogs on them, that I believe were used to rain down on the red carpet at the premiere. Still have a bunch of those bills actually.

great to see the growth on the channel. the nutty professor 1 was so funny. when i watched it in hte theaters i hardly could hear it. the crowd was laughing so hard. archer is a great show.

The Great Wall is one of my all-time favorites. It's not for everyone. The visuals are incredible, they used real priests to perform the acrobatics. If you love SciFi and Asian fight scenes. It's top-notch! Side note: Luhan, one of the stars, is a K-pop mega star. Megastar! And the saddest most compelling character. 😊

Upgrade is a great watch, I've been meaning to revisit it since I first saw it on your earlier recommendation.

Upgrade was a very good movie. And if I can remember it correctly, it has a very good twist at the end that you don’t see coming! Definitely one that you want to get on Blu-ray 4K!

I LOVED Sing Street and Upgrade. Went into them both blind, was very pleasantly surprised, and have watched both multiple times.

SHADOW IN THE CLOUD is a strange little flick with very effective claustrophobic scenes and a few genuinely awesome ones. Once you put yourself in Independence Day mode, it’s terrific. Personally, I found it very enjoyable!

Jujutsu Kaizen is definitely worth checking out! This is coming from a guy who isn't in to anime.

Bridgerton Season 4 has already been announced. This is the most re-watched show on Netflix, it is not going away anytime soon.

interesting, i just checked netflix' own 'coming this week' and 'next week' and there's no listings for neither 'traffic' nor 'the gentlemen' [the movie]... these 2 i really wanted to re-watch and set a 'reminder' function for into my list so hopefully it's a glitch in their preview system... agree with your praise for 'upgrade'... it's still one of my fave sci-fi flicks from the last decade, must've watched it 5-6 times since it came out, definitely under rated...

I think Shadow in the Clouds got bad reviews cause it never fully explained what was actually going on, and the fact that there was no sequel to further the story.

I enjoyed Equaliser 3 as much as the first two films, the scenery is amazing. Sing street is a beautiful film with 80s music and style, makes you feel nostalgic for a bygone era.

This actually seems to be one of the worst On-The-Go on Netflix, it the best. The list of movies coming out on streaming in general seems to be digging deeper into the bottom of the barrel.

I've always felt like I have weird taste for recommending "Upgrade" - it's good to hear I'm not the only one.

The Great Wall is NOT on par with White House Down. The Great Wall, while not the dark, mature, fantasy adventure it perhaps could have been (it does have a PG vibe), it is surprisingly good. The effects are somewhat lacking but the overall design, and the costume design in particular, are fantastic. And the story - carried by some great actors from the US and Asia - is engaging. The movie isn't one I'd travel to a theater for but it's a fun watch - and great for parents and kids.

I remember explaining to my wife that "20 seasons of Survivor" (or whatever the number was at the time) does not equate to 20 YEARS of "Survivor." The same could be said for "Archer," or has it been around for 14 years?

I enjoyed the films you haven't seen: Shadow in the Clouds (alright), PB Falcon & Sing Street! I may have to check out Upgrade. (Especially since Matrix Resurrections doesn't deserve to exist!)

Definitely give The Peanut Butter Falcon a go. It's a great feel-good movie. Shadow In The Cloud is also worth a watch. It won't win any awards, but it's good enough that we've watched it a couple of times as we downed a bowl of popcorn.
