My client is into collecting very rare and expensive cars. This time he decided to go for a Porsche 911 (992) Heritage Edition and the purchase was meant to happen through Porsche Centre Nevskiy (Rolf) in St. Petersburg. Anton, the client, signed the preliminary contract with the dealer, paid the deposit to lock the car and started to patiently wait for his car to arrive...
Once that happened, the dealership decided that since the demand is huge, why not increase the price by another $40,000, completely disregarding the fact that the preliminary purchase contract has already been signed!
Anton was obviously not happy about such last minute changes and still, the dealer managed to void the contract and not deliver the car, although it has already been paid in full, based on the main purchase agreement.
In general, Rolf is quite a large chain of car dealerships and I've never had any issues with them before. Therefore, I trust that it is a singular case that took place solely because someone at this specific dealership suddenly became very greedy. And hopefully, this person will be punished for the unlawful actions that took place and can be witnessed in this video.
This video is shot for informational purposes to prepare the viewers for instances that do take place even at the dealerships that deal with very expensive automotive brands.
As for Anton, I doubt he will ever return to this dealership and he'll most likely spread the word about among his friends, the same way he did thanks to this video. Was it worth it? I doubt so...
Likewise, I don't think there will be a second part to this, unless Rolf decides to publicly express their version of this case or apologize for the inconvenience.
