Sam Presti actually is one of the greatest GM's ever its really impressive what he's done with a smaller team and no star power. Great drafting, great trades. This dude would've had several rings already if he was running a large market team.

True but what chris finch did are: 1. Made the timberwolves top 1 mostly the whole season until kat got injured 2. He still made an adjustment even without KAT and finish top 3 3. He made Gobert and KAT worked ( Even tho most people disagree that idea ) 4. Built a team that swept a Super Team

It's kind of like how during the bubble year the Suns had a mid record because Ayton missed 35 games, then won 8 straight in the bubble. You could tell that they were bubbling and poised to finish high in the standings, and it's the same for the Thunder this year. The only question mark was how Chet would acclimatize to the NBA, and we've seen how that has gone
