My mom was from florence, Italy She modeled for DIOR in paris in the 1950's when she was 80yrs old should would still put on a dress get dressed nice to go to the store food shopping...she was beautiful...never once said a curse word her whole life..rip mom.

I love how they age gracefully. My parents were Italian and my father was a tailor. We were always impeccably dressed. Classy and in good taste. Proud of my Italian background and upbringing!

When I was in Italy, I saw many women, arms entwined, laughing and enjoying each other’s company. I must admit that I thought that there were a lot of lesbians in Italy. Someone said that women who were close friends did this, and weren’t lesbians. I think that’s just so beautiful, so intimate, so loving, and I wish that we did that in the US! I blame it on cars. We don’t walk around with friends, we drive. Good for Italian women!!!

Im loving some of the vibrant colour combinations! It's interesting...I've noticed in Paris, people tend to gravitate more to neutrals, and while there were some lovely neutral outfits here, there seems in general to more adventurous colour and print combos in Milan!

When I still lived in Nice, south of France, I enjoyed watching Italian ladies walking around. Their dress, their juwelleries, the way they carried themself, of all ages, They were endeed beautifull and stylish even at the supermarket.

I appreciate the focus on us mature ladies. Most of us have always had style and still do, it isn’t just for youngsters! We also have better figures than our fellow Americans in their teens and early 20s etc., who are downright fat when just starting out in life and who will soon be grossly obese with health problems. We know how to eat in a healthy way and stay active. We’ve had lots of practice staying fit and turning ourselves out beautifully, every day. The more time one has lived, the better one gets at understanding what looks great on one’s own body, with one’s own coloring, etc. Those of my generation (born 1960) have never lost our focus on top-quality and natural-material wardrobes, and timeless styles.

I’m f you’re slim and well groomed, you look good in anything. A pretty girl will look good wrapped in a bin liner!. That said, Europeans love stylish clothes and dress well. My German grandmother knew how to dress for her figure and always looked good. My sister is fantastic at sewing, she makes most of her own clothes to fit and flatter her and always looks fabulous.

Смотрела стритстайлы из многих стран, но самые классные и элегантные- это из Италии. Особенно поразили образы мужчин: брючки с открытой щиколоткой, рубашки, жилетки, пиджаки, из верхнего кармана пиджака элегантно выглядывает платочек, а стрижки и укладка- это отдельная песня.

Many of these mature ladies have great figures, I wish they wouldn’t always do the big, long top thing. I’m 63, normal weight, and find it so much more flattering to tuck in one’s tops, or wear short ones. A slightly rounded tummy is normal for women of every age, why should they have to cover it up? Tunic tops and untucked, long shirts look frumpy and age women. Most women gain an inch or two around the middle after menopause, so what? A woman’s proportions look so much better if her waist is visible, even if just a little in front. I see one lady tucking in, she looks fab! This applies to men as well.

Everyone looksso put together and they're wearing practical comfortable shoes! I have flat feet so i always notice footware.
