Some places that we metal detect are just so awe inspiring that we just have to stop and take it all in. When you see these ancient looking hand-stacked block structures you can't help but think what life was like only a few hundred years ago and how different it is from today's world. Searching for everyday items that were lost back then bridges that gap between the old world and the new and metal detecting is one of the best ways to try and locate them. The amazing 1740's home was loaded was interesting objects and they just kept coming and coming throughout the day.
