Old WoW Zones with New WoW Skyboxes

In 10.2.5. the Date Simulation Modulator was added to the Love is in the Air Holiday! This is video of what it does, and how it can be used. This toy provides a great opportunity to see old zones in a new Light! It's also great for making your screenshots of your main unique!

I wish each zone could go through multiple Skyboxes and weather effects. Though I do think some of the gloomy zones like deadwind and duskwood feel better darker. I can definitely see medivhs tower feeling more inviting for all those nobles going to his parties

ALSO the potion you buy in darkmoon that makes it a dark night sky makes those zones seem almost peaceful.

a skybox overhaul for older zones would do so much for the visuals. Then maybe add different weathers and skyboxes tooo maybe for each zone, so they feel different every time you're there

Crazy how much lighting does. I used to use the Inky Black Potion from Darkmoon Faire a lot in Vasj'ir. Now I'm really curious for mods of this kind.

Nice showcase, thank you. As a side-note, I sort of wish some of these were just default. Like, the skybox changing with the zones kind of has that "Mexico yellow filter" vibe, you know? The skybox just changes for the vibe, not necessarily because it makes sense.

they need to ad more filters like this so you can explore it in this aspect, also if they make an item "weather in a bottle" where you can take this filter with you for an hour or 2 wherever you want like "inky black potion"

What this toy does it just put a hidden spell on you that overlays over the original skybox for your percieption and whoever is in a raid wirh you. Certain areas I believe they should update the skyboxes to reflect the ones aroud Tirisgarde sound's sunny day or Stormsong valley.

I vaguely remember wow featuring dark nights, and at some point, nights never looked the same. I think that’s one detail that started making the game less immersive for me.

The BC zones always used to make me nauseous and I've just realized it was because of the intense focus on one color for each zone that is also prevalent in the sky boxes which we extrmely low quality. The contrast that this provides immediately fixed that for me. 3:13 just look at that 🤢

I wish blizzard updated old zones including expansions. Seriously what's the point of having them in game anymore, you can't really enjoy old content at max level and even leveling alts now a day you are still a little over powered. I call old zones stagnant pools because they are frozen in time. It makes wow look like a neglected amusement park. At this point I'd settle for scaling so I can go back and do old content since blizzard drip feeds the new stuff. There is never anything to do in retail
