I love Khabib for the sake of Allah as a person and his character. I respect his pride in his Islamic identity and I hope to see many young people grow up to have similar qualities of being strong and proud of their deen regardless of what position they have in society. I was one of the few people that did not watch the McGregor VS Khabib fight because I was doubtful that it was permissible, I was surprised that many people didn't see it as an issue including some duaats and close friends and I am glad that I finally had the chance to ask Khabib himself directly. His answer was amazing and made me love and respect him more mashallah tabarakallah.

This is so strong from Khabib ma shaa Allah. Imagine ur life-time-work is getting questioned and he doesnt justify it and staying humble and wants to stay honest not selling his faith. We all have errors. May Allah forgive him every sin he did. And may Allah reward him with jannat al firdaus and everything good in this life for his good manner he shows to the world. and I think it needs courage to ask a question like that. U can see some perople are getting uncomfortable while this question is getting asked. Its a shame I can't say that about other Muslims. Which they ones I've come across are very judgemental and outcast people who are 'non believers' or from different religions. Why create a divide between humans? Isn't that wrong in it self under God? Why be so judgemental and even that pressure and convince youths of different religions to convert. Muslims say paradise starts at the feet of your parents. Why would you make a child who's non Muslim disrespect their parents by having them convert? When the parents have raised their child to be of another religion. It just dosent make sense. However I've followed Khabib. This man is a true inspiration. True man. A true good kind hearted Human. The context, "When one of you fights, avoid hitting the face", you're not supposed to be fighting in the first place. Reading into the context of the hadith it's more to do with safety, like many people have died from a single punch to the face. It's not supposed to be a ruling on combat sports. etc. Imagine a muslim country training it's military without sparring; ineffective and lacking. People think they're smart quoting hadiths out of context while also being low on brain cells.

@tauhid9983
@tauhid9983 2 роки тому
well I think the example of the military training is kinda invalid...cuz modern warfare don't focus much on unarmed combat. Most don't train in striking as much but in jutjisu. But ofc, for normal folks when it comes to self defence training in combat sports is the best defence you can have. So by extension, u kinda have to train getting punched in the face or delivering the punch as well...otherwise u won't learn. But even in training, u can wear headgear or spar lightly in order to reduce damage. That's the key idea...as long as one can preserve the sanity of the face. You good! Also the Hadith isn't at all about safety mate, when it's about the nobility and the purity of the face. No matter who it is. Ofc when it comes to life or death, then that's a different case. Cuz if you consider the Hadith, where prophet (pbuh) forbade ppl from stoning the face of the women who was sentenced to death. It wasn't at all about the safety of the women lol, it was about honouring the face,

I hope you're not assuming only Pakistani's celebrate Mawlid, because there are huge Mawlid gatherings which take place all over the world, including the Arab Peninsula and other parts of the world, so it's certainly not something only people from the Indian Subcontinent do. If praising the best of the creation and thanking Allah Almighty for sending the best of creation to us (which is what Mawlid is) is a problem for you then you have bigger issues. I don't need to categorically prove that Khabib celebrates Mawlid, him doing it or not isn't evidence for or against it. But one thing I know for a fact is that he is a Sunni/Sufi. The scholars of Dagestan are Sufi scholars and Sufis celebrate Mawlid. Many practices which Pseudo-Salafi's disagree with, Khabib would be doing and you're probably thinking 'What's the evidence?', well the simple fact that he follows the Sufi way, Ahle Sunnat Wal Jamma'ah is enough evidence in itself. It would be shocking if anyone thinks Khabib is a Pseudo-Salafi, that's just criminal if someone suggested that (not saying you are). Pseudo-Salafi's appropriate figures like Khabib when it suits them, ignoring his beliefs (which they would disagree with).

MMA has evolved and it’s an Art!! It involves all aspects of defense and offense, Khabib is superior athlete in every essence of MMA, the fact that he stands apart is because he chose to choke people out instead of hurting their face, that makes him levels above any athlete! Period

Well he already said why he stopped fighting. At this point I think we all know! If his father cared too much that this was haram, he wouldn't have trained him and so many other boys who grew up to become professional fighters! You don't have to be extreme, that's not how you please God.

Yup, as a muslim myself.. I also shaking my head when i watch these people take everything to the extreme.. Like, everything is black and white only.. I can give multiple reason why compete in a combat sport is not haram.. But these folks just won't listen..

Bruh! How was that "extreme"? And I don't get the point where you mentioned khabib father training his students to become professional fighters? It's irrelevant to the topic. Are you saying that because khabib father encouraged that then it's not Haram?

@@saifty3747 Tbh, we have original martial arts, jiu-jitsu, muay Thai, etc. But I'm pretty sure all of those came from martial arts. Martial arts started in 527 AD and jiu-jitsu started around 1920.

Allāhma bārik. Humans, when their flaws are pointed out to them, rarely accept it. When a prophet would come to his people, they would hate that the nabi pointed out their faults Khabib took this on the chin & conceded. Try doing the same with a liberal without causes a tantrum. This is a sign of sincerity. He could've politly not answered, or decided to justify it saying he doesn't hit Muslims. Instead, he was honest, took it like a man, and discouraged youth from doing so. He submitted, like a true Muslim. My respect for him has only increased.

What an annoying question. A little tip for the “imam” - ask Khabib behind closed doors cause now people are wondering what your intentions are for asking this publicly (and Is that Islamic?)
@tashnob
@tashnob 2 роки тому
Because he publicly competed in a Haram sport influencing millions of people. If the sin is in the open then it needs to be dealt with openly.
@Checkout17
@Checkout17 2 роки тому
You have a point. Indeed, he should have asked him that privately. Combat sports such as UFC, MMA, boxing in which opponents physically injure each other is un-Islamic, there is no doubt about it. Other combat sports in which the opponents are not injured, such as wrestling, arm wrestling, and combat sports are allowed. The only thing worse compared with all these combat sports where opponents injure each other is when the intention is to kill each other! This is a logical explanation and not difficult to understand. Peace be with you

It's a tough judgement call. But to say that Allah's help wasn't there when Khabib defeated McGregor would be a mistake. It's as if it was meant to be.
