@Marc Paul Greven That doesn't mean he lost half a second. Do you think that if a driver makes multiple corrections, then that driver loses seconds? It depends on the kind of mistake you make.

Remember Lewis took a load of engine penalties in one go at Spa to limit the damage, this was a brand new unit for that race with only a few hundred km of use it was unlucky failure to do with oil I think but even brand new engines can fail.
