It’s weird bc I was 8 watching the final and crying when they didn’t win, now I’m 17 (18 the day before their 10th bday 😹) and I’m still listening to them (mainly the later stuff now) They’ve been such a big part of so many peoples lives and it’s honestly weird to think back that I’ve spent over half of my life loving these boys 💖😭

Simon KNEW he had something big and that he had plugged into the teenage girl fan base that has blown up all the boy bands in the past - until those boy bands fade into obscurity. Nothing against 1D...I just can't think of one boy band that has stood the test of time. Some individuals of boy bands have gained longevity in the music biz, like Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake. But Simon knew by the hordes of fans that were already being gained - and following in the footsteps of every boy band in existence - that he would make billions. Dude knows what he's doing.
