Top video as always Saf - I reckon i'd pay the extra and go for the 9!

If I had to choose one of these 2, I would go with the OnePlus Nord 2 because I think it is much worth the price after watching few reviews.

For me the 2Mp B/W camera sounds very interesting depending how it can handle the light and how wide the dynamic range is, it had been super cool if it had no IR filter so I would be able to have my own filters in front of it if you want to use it in a more scientific/experimental way.

i kinda liked the nord 2's photos more,looks sharp and saturation is on point,also while balance is better,is it because of the color os effect?

Nord 2 have OIS and 9 didnot have OIS. Or am I mistaken? Because there is no mention of it in this video. It's an important feature.

The monochrome sensor is just to add phisical information about dept so the camera can fokus better in order to create a proper portrait effect. Rememeber years ago when this portrait effect came up, it was software-based only and it was garbage. there was just a sharp circle in the middle and everything outside this circle got blurred.... the monochrome sensor changed that since it adds information to the software about whats actually foreground and whats backround so we have a proper portrait effect nowadays. In order to do that, it doesn't need more than 2MP since it doesn't do any photo's which you would be able to see anyway. I don't know why so many people that do reviews etc still don't understand that.

SuperSaf how is the s21 plus exynos version in aspects of the camera department and the video recording . Not able to find good videos regarding the s21 plus

You can lower the brightness and lock it while using the front facing camera. Same goes with the regular video. Btw info. When doing this you will see a blue sky and better dynamic range.

Pros: 1. IMX766 Camera with OIS (Used POCO F1 before, no great difference, only OIS) 2. Fast Changing 3. Good haptics 4. Compact (similar dimensions to POCO F1) 5. Audio performance is ok. 6. Good 4G coverage, and more 5g bands. Cons: 1. Bad image processing (both front and back)(more saturated on main sensor) 2. Display is not colour accurate (when compared to nokia 8.1 (personal opinion)) and u can get great display phone for lower price. 3. Not great battery backup 4. Oxygen os became carbon dioxide os😢. 5. Little little bugs (can be fixed via ota?) 6. Plastic frame (but good built quality) 7. Fingerprint sensor misses quite often (atleast for me) 8. RAM Management is so poor. 9. CPU throttling 10. Trying to find the purpose of the monochrome sensor (3rd camera), they should have removed that sensor and given us a good usable ultra wide sensor.(ultra wide sensor is also very bad in quality) 11. No HDR support on Netflix and no FHD support on Amazon prime video. 12. No offense, can burst😭. I am writing this reply because it might help many people choose whether to buy nord 2 or not, and OnePlus might read this and fixes the issues that I have mentioned above....

OIS on Nord2 is the difference in some cases.. The primary sensor on Oneplus 9 is definitely better, providing tripod or gimble

Nord 2 is a really competitive device and I guess that at this price point it is the best phone available.

Brother. Is Gsm arena website provided correct details about 5g bands?. Because for nord 2 in gsm shows (n66 which is most probably seen in American region) is included in the European version. But in any other websites including official websites doesn't show that band. Will you clarify. Me. Its urgent. I want to buy it if it have that band.

Good to see that he conveniently missed to mention that the Nord 2 has OIS....but the 9 simply does not have any hardware stabilization which is essential in getting good videos and also helps in low light since it reduces the shakes

What's your thoughts of the Nord 2 vs the N10

I remember a few years ago wanting a high refresh rate display on my phone but that has since faded since 60Hz I've realized is more than enough for me. If I was to get a HRR display at all, I'd get the 120Hz one because it seems like more of an upgrade.

I think that the Nord 2 at that starting price point is really competitive. Plus it gets an ultra funny presentation!

It would be interesting to compare the Nord 2 to OnePlus 8T , the difference in price of the base model is £50 in the UK

I have a dilemma. I really am keen on wireless charging. Because I have some problems with the USB connection, and my OnePlus 6t is increasingly difficult to charge via the cable.
