As for cons, I don’t have any for this kit;
Summary :
TT gear continues to impress me with their quality, designs and value; these kit bags are excellent; compared to the mesh kit bags, they are stronger, more durable, heavier.

I'm with you Luke. Love organizational pouches and bags. Was laughed at on a backpacking trip once because of all the stuff sacks and small bags. That is until it was time to stop and set up camp. The laughing boy was a bit impressed by my ability to pull out what I wanted simply by grabbing the bag I needed. Meanwhile, he was searching for crap that had settled to the bottom of his pack. I haven't tried the Tasmanian Tiger gear yet, but will give them serious consideration. Thanks for the review!

I love the olive color, the mesh, and the sizes. Having the hook & loops is a great idea. Never heard of Tasmanian gear before. I use pouches for traveling, but these seem perfect for backpacking.

it's a German company... not sure why they'd name their gear after an extinct marsupial from a little island off the bottom of Australia (that I live in!) ... but anyway :)

I own the TT Raid Pack MK3 rucksack. Amazing quality, fits my back perfectly and the quality is impeccable. I compared it to a Savotta and an Osprey, for me TT was the winner. Best harness configuration for my body.

Another great review, I've been looking for a organization pouch set with hook and loop like the TT. So thank you I will be looking for a set. I really like that you are agenda free on your reviews and everyone values your option ( which is awesome ), with my job, by the time I get a chance to watch you reviews and go to the agenda free link you put up it's usually unavailable and I am ok with that. That just means the folks out there listen to you. I will, wait till they are back in stock. Keep up the great work. Strength and Honor my friend, till the next one!

I have used similar packing pouches for years to organize travel clothing and gear. I settled on a similar style of mesh top panel and more structured sides so that they will stack and nest better in luggage and camp packs. All-mesh pouches are light---but they are difficult to zip/unzip in comparison to this. The all-mesh pouches just jumble up in my bags.

I've always used nylon drawstring pouches, but I'd like to upgrade to something eventually. I'm always taking to pouch and dumping the whole thing out to find what I need. These might be just the ticket. I went to Amazon and they are out of stock, but I marked them for later.

I have this set since a month as an addition to the Tasmanian Tiger modular 45+ pack i bought a few months ago. This is a 45+ liter clam shell design backpack. The biggest ykk zipper there is on the main compartment. Laser cut molle hook and loop on the inside and it comes with 3 large pouches similar to the pouches in this video. But they are not the same. I would say this TT modular 4 pouch set is like: -2 small, 1 with a clear window, other mesh -1 medium with mesh -1 extra large with mesh and what they call 'compression'. But it's not like a real compression bag. The Modular 45+ backpack comes with 3 large modular pouches, 2 with mesh 1 plain. They look similar to the medium pouch of this kit in size but they are prob 1/3 bigger so i would say they are the L size. And the largest pouch in this video is like an XL. 2 L pouches can fit in the xl. The 3 L pouches that come with the TT modular 45+ have a smart feature. Hook and loop strips to identify bags. They have blank grey velcro strips you can write things on. I took a waterproof marker and wrote like: Food, PR2, Toaks, cup, Windburner etc. Cut them into small velcro strips so when i'm changing the content of a pouch i can easily label it. This labeling system is not on this pouch set and that would be an improvement. Handles on the pouches, i don't need it. Because i use them in my TT mod 45+ and i can stick them where ever inside this clam shell design main compartment. This molle, velcro system on the inside and clam shell design is something i've never seen. TT went insane on possibilities. What you can think off, they made it. The modular 45+ has a 'hidden' zipper for fast access to the main compartment where you can velcro a handgun holster in. The 45+ comes with gunstraps. You can secure a mp5 to a wall in your bag. If you want. I use them to secure my canon eos dslr with telelens in a top corner. TT has it all. You can turn these modular packs into a medical bag and buy a med pouch kit for a battlefield or buy a camera insert and turn it into a camera bag. They got a dozen or more options and sizes of pouches you can fit on the inside or outside of their bags. All molle compatible. There's no other brand out there that offers this kind of versatility. Quality is top notch. The attention to detail is just crazy. And what I personally appreciate a lot is they have an open factory policy. No shady sweatshops with child labor. They want fair and transparent production and treat their workers well. You can see and feel this in the amount of attention that's given to a product. 300 euro's for a Tasmanian Tiger 45+ liter backpack is a lot. Yes there's are cheaper options but if you want real quality, check out their gear.

Mesh kit bags are very useful to me: I like to keep my water filters open after use to dry them out, in a mesh bag, it keeps 'stuff ' from getting in n keeps my straw filter sanitary, also if my pack towel is still damp or the socks ( underwear etc) I washed are still damp, the MESH bag let's me keep them aired out n more sanitary. I like to hang the mesh bags on the outside of my pack so yes, handles would be nice.

I like mesh for a dirty laundry bag, otherwise, I'm not a big fan of mesh. Mesh lets dirt and grit in and it lets moisture out. A wet tarp or rain gear goes into a nylon bag until it can be dried. Electronics go into zip top bags, often protected by a nylon bag. Cookware and stoves (which may contain residual moisture) also gets stashed in a bag. I sew up many of my own bags. Some of my bags are cotton or canvass, made from old material. A bit heavier, but I like the way cotton works to protect and organize kit, but allows it to breathe a bit. I think $40 seems a bit steep for 4 bags. Not outrageous, but a bit pricey.

Most of my kit is a bit older as I have been using it for years. Mesh back then was of pretty cheap quality and would quickly fray and eventually fall apart. However, my biggest concern with mesh is the holes. Things can get caught in it or fall through - and then water and moisture. Water happens and when you least expect it. I use pouches all of the time, but I put them in plastic bags (ziplocks, etc.) It's an extra couple of seconds opening and closing, but dry and together.
