Thanks. One of the few truly informative videos I've seen on this subject.

Great video, very well done! I have a mild to moderate loss, I've tried Signia iic rechargeable, Oticon iic and Rexton iic. Wanted to be discreet but realize that in noisy environments they don't work at all. Two friends who have behind the ear products have told me that they don't work well in noisy environments either. I'm looking for a behind the ear model that might work the best in bars etc, would you say this would be the best one for that? Thanks

I Love Oticon’s products, but I wish they could provide the disable battery option because I don’t have time to wait for the charging, not even 30 minutes :-(

I am having issue with the comfort of my new Oticon aids, my second pair. Can you educate me on mold making? My Audiologist is highly qualified but doesn't seem to want to make new molds. I'm getting feedback which I haven't ever had, and my ears want to scream with discomfort!

Hopefully this helps but let us know if you have any specific questions! We can pass them on to our audiologist for a perspective.

Now apparently the top of the line aids are no longer available through insurance. As if they weren't expensive enough in the first place. Other brands will probably do the same.

2 minutes of telling us what you’re going to tell us. Classic influencer. Well done sir. Also, you repeat Oticon’s claims, but don’t independently test things. Classic influencer. Well done sir.

That the connectivity issues have been improved is news enough by itself

You didn't say how the Intent sounds with music. I recently tried the Oticon Real, and liked how it performed with speech, however it was unacceptably awful with music. I am a musician and audiophile, so I exchanged the Oticon Real for Widex Moment. The Widex are great with music, especially using the PureSound program. My Widex are also good with speech, and more natural-sounding than the Oticon Real that I tried.

That's because hearing aids in general weren't made for listening to music sure some of them provide good streaming quality but hearing aids were mainly made for speech not music

@@meric12131415 In that case ,it is time some hearing aids were made specifically for music. There are millions of music lovers out there .Come on manufacturers get your act together! There is a large market untapped .

People have insurance that covers hearing aids? LOL These look fantastic and costly. Might save up for a pair.

Has the reviewer actually used them? If so, for how many hours? What I really need is detailed instructions in how to use the Oticon Intent 1 which has just recently been released. The Oticon videos were made by professionals who seem to be insensitive to the actual user and all of the things that the user needs to know to operate them. A video lasting minute or two or three just isn't very helpful. The short videos produced by Oticon are rushed and explain next to nothing. I've had my hearing aids 13 days now now and in spite of experimenting with the app and reading through the instruction manuals, I still have no control over the volume, either with the hearing aids themselves or the telephone app (I have an iPhone XR). The streaming volume is usually too low to hear well as well as being uneven. I consistently can't hear streaming from my phone with both ears at the same time. Today I couldn't understand anything from a podcast while on the train (light rail) with the ordinary noise of the train passing over the train tracks. The clip-on device seldom works although I have read and really tried to follow its instructions. And I paid $6400 for my hearing aids and accessories. I don't know whether these problems are persistent technical glitches or is there just a lack of available workable instructions to users or both. I hope to find out more when I see the audiologist again, but why is there no actually helpful information online? I've found a variety of lengthy reviews of the Oticon Intent, but none provide practical instructions on how to use them. Finally, the Intent 1 controls are complicated. You perform different operations by holding the same buttons different numbers of seconds. The varieties of colors that come on for the different operations are confusing. I suppose I sound stupid to folks who work with these every day, but I doubt that I am much less sophisticated than a good proportion of users.
